Setting up the appliance

Beforeyouusetheappliancefortheirst

time,dothefollowing:

Removeilm.

Unrollorpushintherightamountof

cablefromthecablecompartmentand

plugthecableintoapoweroutlet.

Removethewatertankandcleanit

thoroughlyunderrunningwater.

►

Inserttheiltercartridgeasdescribedin

thesectiontitled“BRITAMAXTRAwater

iltersystem”.

►

Fillthewatertankuptothe

max

mark

withfresh,coldwater.Useonlynon-

carbonateddrinkingwater.

►

Replacethewatertankandpushitirmly

downwardintoplace.

►

Setthe

on/off

switchto

on

.Alldisplay

itemswilllightupbriely,andthenthe

90°C

iconstayslit.

Placeaglassorcupholdingatleast

150mlonthecupstandunderthewater

outlet.

►

Pressthe

start/stop

buttontodispense

oneportionofwatertorinsethe

appliance.

outlet.

buttontoselectthe

desiredtemperature.

Pressthe

start/stop

button.The

waterwilldispensefromtheoutlet.The

selectedtemperaturelasheswhilethe

waterisdispensed.

Height adjustment

Theadjustablecupstandletsyouadjust

thedistancebetweenyourcuporglassand

thewateroutlet.Thelowestsettingissuit-

ablefortallerglassesandcups.Forsmaller

cupsorsoupcupsyoucaninsertthecup

standintooneoftheupperopenings.
