Tips for Energy Saving

Attention:

z

Never use your hands to move the flap (vertical airflow flap)

controlled using the remote controller.

Note

z

When the air conditioner is turned off, the flap automatically

moves toward the direction of closing.

z

The flap (vertical airflow flap) moves to the upward position

during standby operation for heating.

z

The swing operation starts after the standby operation has

finished, but “Swing” is indicated on the remote controller

even during the standby operation.

„

Avoid

z

Do not block the air intake and outlet of the unit.

(If either is obstructed, the unit will not function

well, causing malfunction.)

z

During cooling operation, use sunshades, blinds or cur-

tains to prevent direct sunlight from entering the room.

„

Do

z

Always keep the air filter clean.

(A clogged filter will impair the performance of the unit.)

→ “Maintenance” (P.8)

z

To prevent conditioned air from escaping, keep win-

dows, doors and any other openings closed.
