NOTE:

The minute indicator in the display provides information on the charging status of the

battery. “40” indicates that the battery is fully charged.

• Chargetheunitbeforerstusefor2hours.

NOTE:

After initial use, do not charge the battery for longer than 2 hours at one time.

CAUTION:

After 2 hours always disconnect from mains power supply.

NOTE LIFEFIME RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

You can extent the lifetime of the rechargeable battery by following these steps:

• Onlychargeafterthebatteryisnearlyexhausted.

• Donotchargeformorethan2hours.

• Chargetheunitattemperaturesbetween0°and+40°C.

Shaving

1. Remove the protective cover.

2. Press the on/off button.

3. Hold the shaver at a right angle to your face.

4. Follow the outline of your face, and continue to hold the shaver at a right angle to your

skin. Small irregularities will be corrected by the flexible shaving foil.

NOTE:

• Shaveagainstthedirectionofhairgrowth.

• Ifnecessary,stretchtheskinwithyourfreehand.

Using the long hair cutting attachment:

Use the long hair cutting attachment to precisely cut the hair or beard.

• Pressthebuttononthebackofthedeviceforthelonghairtrimmertoipopen.

• Closethelonghairtrimmermanuallyaftershaving.

Stop operation

Stop operation by pressing the on/off button again.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING:

Before cleaning the handset with water, disconnect it from the connection cable.

CAUTION:

• Donotuseawirebrushorotherabrasives.

• Donotusesharporabrasivecleaningagents.

This device can be cleaned under running water.

1. Switch of the shaver.

2. Press the shaving head buttons.

3. Rinse the shaving head thoroughly under running water.

4. Let the cleaned parts dry.

Alternatively, clean the shaver with the brush provided.

Maintenance and replacement

• Cleantheshavingheadthoroughlyonceamonth.Ifnecessary,usespecialcleaning

aids available in specialist shops.

• Lubricatetheshavingfoilsandlonghaircuttingattachmentwithalightmachineoil(a

few drops suffice).

Replacement of shaving parts

To maintain the shaving performance at 100 %, replace the cutting parts at the latest every

18 months or when the parts show wear. We recommend changing the parts as a set.
