IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

· Please read through the instruction before using this appliance and keep this

instruction manual in a safe place.

· This appliance is intended for household use only.

· Ensure that the connect voltage is as the same as on the rating plate.

· To prevent from electric shock, fire, personal injury and any other hazard. Do

not immerse kettle, power base, power cord and plug into water or other liquid.

· Do not use the appliance if it damaged or malfunctioned in any manner. Return

to the Customer Service for examination and repair.

· If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its

service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Do not

operate the appliance with a severed or damaged cord or plug.

· Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning or in the event to a

fault.

· The appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns or scalds, do not let bare skin

touch hot surfaces. Always hold handle while moving, filling or lifting the appli^

ance. Pouring water slowly and carefully.

· Keep the appliance out of reach of the children. Close attention is necessary

when the appliance is used near children.

· Do not put or place the appliance or cable on hot surface, stove or toaster.

· Do not place the appliance on a metal surface or tray.

· Do not let cable hang over edge of table, or run across an open space.

· Do not pull the cable across sharp edge or use the cable to carry the appliance.

· Do not locate the appliance near the sink or edge of table counter where appli^

ance may have the risk to fall down causing hazardous.

· Boil as much water as you need.

· Always fill enough water to cover the bottom of the kettle.

· Do not fill an empty kettle whilst it is still hot as this may cause scalding.

· Close the lid securely before switch on the appliance and do not open the lid

while boiling as it will interrupt the auto switch off and cause scalding by steam.

· Appliance should be used on a firm, flat and level surface.

· Do not fill the kettle over the Max. level as boiling water will be spited out the

spout and around the lid causing scalding. Use the appliance to boil water only

and never use to boil other liquid such milk, coffee or soup.

· Empty the appliance after use. And do not switch on while the appliance is

empty as the stainless steel bottom may be damaged or became discoloration.

· Cold down and empty the appliance before removal the filter.

· Use the appliance only on the power base unit provided. Do not fill water when

appliance stand on the power base unit.

· Do not use the appliance outdoors.

· WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.
