 CAUTION: 

Batteries must not be disposed of in the garbage. Please

back to the dealer.

Reestablishing factory settings

Possible malfunctions during the operation may be remedied 

by pressing the RESET button (2).

•  Press the reset button (RESET) on the remote control to

reset the electronics. The settings made by you will get 

lost in the process.

General Operation

Switch device on/off

•  Turn on the devices with the power switch on the rear. Set

the POWER switch to the “ON” position.

•  With the   button (14), you can switch the unit between 

standby and operating mode. When in standby, two bars 

are lit in the display. 

•  To turn off the devices, set the power switch POWER on

the back side to the “OFF” position. To disconnect the 

unit completely from the mains, pull the mains plug from 

the socket.

 NOTE: 

After about 30 minutes without signal, or if the signal is too 

weak, the device will automatically switch to standby.

Volume

By pressing the  /  buttons (7/10) you can adjust the desi-

red volume.

Infrared Remote Control

For wireless control within a distance of 5 m. If this range de-

creases, the battery has to be replaced. For proper operation 

mind a clear view between the remote control and the sensor 

on the device.

INPUT (1)

Press the INPUT button until the desired operating mode is 

shown on the display. After 3 seconds the volume indicator 

appear in the display again.

Sound Settings (4)

(Preset equalizer function) Different ssound modes are availab-

le (NORMAL, MUSIC, MOVIE).

 NOTE: 

If necessary, change the EQ setting in your playback unit to 

create the best sound.

Adjusting basses and trebles (13)

The basses are adjusted with the BASS+/BASS- buttons. 

The trebles are adjusted with the TREBLE+/TREBLE- buttons.

For immediate muting of the volume. The currently set 

volume will flash in the display. Press   again to cancel the 

function.

Radio mode

1.  Fully uncoil the wire antenna. Insert the dipole antenna 

into the FM jack (1).

2. 

Manual scan for radio stations:

 Briefly press the

>>/<< button (6), until you have found 

the radio station which you are looking for. If you keep 

one of the buttons pressed down, the device will search 

to the previous, respectively next radio station.

Preset station:

1.  Using the CH+ or the CH- button, select the program 

channel space before the program channel in which 

you want to store a radio station. Example: To store 

a station in the program channel CH02, set the pro-

gram channel CH01.

2.  Search for the desired radio station with the 

>>/<< 

buttons (6). 

3.  To store the radio station, keep the CH+ button 

(11) pressed down for ca. 3 seconds. For the listed 

example, CH02 will appear briefly in the display and

the radio station is stored.

3.  If the reception is too weak and there is interference on 

the received station, try to improve the reception by 

altering the position and uncoiling or coiling the antenna. 

For FM stations, you can use the ST/MONO button (8) to 

switch between mono and stereo reception. We recom-

mend that you switch to mono in case of bad reception. 

The message “ST” is shown on the display for stereo 

reception. During reception in mono “SOFF” will appear 

briefly in the display.

Select the preset radio station

The preset radio stations can be selected by repeatedly 

pressing the CH+/CH- button (11).

Playing back music files

You have two possibilities to replay own music files with the 

device: Wired or wireless via Bluetooth. 

By cable (Cable not included)

The device has three connection possibilities: COAXIAL (2), 

PC (3), and OPTICAL (4).

1.  If required, use a suitable adapter (not included).

 Connect the external device as follows:

•  With a cinch cable (RCA) to the COAXIAL jack (2).

•  With a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug to the PC socket (3).

•  With a TOSLINK cable to the OPTICAL jack (4).

2.  Depending on the connection used, press the INPUT 

button (1) until COA, PC, or OP appears in the display.
