Installation

Congratulations! You have just bought the best RF/FM wireless microphone
system. Philips uses the latest RF/FM wireless technology to give you complete
freedom of movement. No more inconvenient cables and wires!

Receiver Power Supply
Insert the DC connector of the AC/DC adapter into the 12 Volt DC input of
the FM microphone receiver. Always ensure adapter’s rated voltage
corresponds to the mains socket voltage.
Connect the adapter to the mains supply.
Note: - Only use Philips SBC CS030/00 12Volt/200mA AC/DC adapter
(For UK, use only Philips SBC CS030/05)
- Always disconnect the adapter when you are not using it.
Audio Connections
Insert the audio cable to the microphone receiver output and connect to the
microphone input of your HiFi or karaoke system.
> In case your audio source has a 6.3mm microphone input, connect the
3.5mm to 6.3mm mono adapter plug, which is supplied with the set.
Microphone Power Supply
Insert a 9Volt battery into the FM microphone battery compartment, with the
correct polarity as shown.
Channel Selection
Select the same channel in the microphone and the receiver. The preset
channel is Channel A.
Note:
When using 2 FM wireless microphones in the same room, switch one of
the microphone set to Channel B.

Important
Read these instructions: All the safety and operating instructions
should be read before using the wireless microphone system.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate of the adapter
corresponds to the local mains voltage before connecting to the
mains power supply.
• Always switch the FM microphone and the receiver to the OFF
position when not in use to save energy.
• Remove the battery from the compartment and disconnect the
adapter from the mains if the system is not in use for long period.
• Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed
properly.
• Prevent fire or shock hazard: do not expose this equipment to
humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment
or direct sunlight.
• Use a slightly dampened chamois cloth to clean the housing. Do
not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, spirits, ammonia or
abrasives as these may harm the housing.
• Radio equipment for wireless audio applications is not protected
against disturbance from other radio services.

Specifications
Radio equipment for wireless audio applications is not protected against disturbance
from other radio services.
Problem Remedy
Distortion
Microphone battery running low. Replace with a new battery
Interference from other Radio service, select the other Channel
Ensure the audio source's volume is not set at a too high level. Reduce the
volume
Do not place the receiver or the microphone near fluorescent lamps
Adjust the microphone input level (if available) as well the volume on your
HiFi or karaoke system
Problem Remedy
No sound
Check if the DC connector is properly connected to the receiver and the
mains socket
Check if the microphone is in the ON position, and that the microphone
Channel selection matches the receiver
Check if the audio cable is connected to the microphone input of the HiFi or
karaoke system. Also check if the appropriate audio source has been selected
Microphone battery running low. Replace with a new battery
Adjust the microphone input level (if available) as well the volume on your
HiFi or karaoke system
Switch microphone to ON, and the receiver to CH A or CH B.
> Make sure the channel selection on the microphone matches with the
receiver.
> The power indicator lights up. Indicator: starts blinking if battery level is
low. You should then replace the battery.
Adjust the volume of your HiFi or karaoke system to the desired level.
If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below before taking the set for repair.
If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your
dealer or service centre.
WARNING: Under no circumstances should you try to repair the set
yourself, as this would invalidate the warranty.

Wichtiger Hinweis

• Schalten Sie das FM-Mikrofon und den Empfänger bei
Nichtgebrauch stets auf OFF (aus), um Energie zu sparen.
• Nehmen Sie die Batterie aus dem Fach und ziehen Sie den
Netzadapter, wenn das System längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
• Batterien enthalten Chemikalien, weshalb sie vorschriftsmäßig zu
entsorgen sind.
• Beugen Sie der Feuer- oder Stromschlaggefahr vor: setzen Sie
diese Ausrüstung nicht etwa Feuchtigkeit, Regen, Sand oder
übertriebener, durch Heizkörper oder direkte Sonneneinstrahlung
verursachter Wärme aus.
• Benutzen Sie ein etwas angefeuchtetes Ledertuch zur Reinigung
des Gehäuses. Verwenden Sie keine Reiniger, die Alkohol, Spiritus,
Ammoniak oder scheuernde Bestandteile enthalten, weil dadurch
das Gehäuse beschädigt werden könnte.

Ihr System besteht aus dem folgenden Zubehör:

Installation

Empfänger-Stromversorgung
Stecken Sie den DC-Verbinder des AC/DC-Adapters in den 12 Volt
DC-Eingang des FM-Mikrofonempfängers. Vergewissern Sie sich stets, dass die
Nennspannung des Adapters mit der Netzspannung (Steckdose)
übereinstimmt.
Schließen Sie den Adapter an das Stromnetz an.
Hinweis:
- Benutzen Sie nur Philips SBC CS030/00 12Volt/200mA
AC/DC-Adapter.
- Ziehen Sie den Adapter bei Nichtgebrauch stets ab.
Audio-Anschlüsse
Stecken Sie das Hi-Fi-Audiokabel in den Mikrofonempfängerausgang und
schließen Sie dies an den Mikrofoneingang Ihres HiFi- oder Karaoke-Systems
an.
> Falls Ihre Audioquelle einen 6,3 mm-Mikrofoneingang hat, schließen Sie den
mit dem Gerät mitgelieferten 3,5 mm/6,3-Monoadapterstecker mm an.
Mikofon-Stromversorgung
Legen Sie eine 9 Volt-Batterie in das Batteriefach des FM-Mikrofons ein,
wobei die korrekte Polung lt. Darstellung zu beachten ist.
Kanalwahl
Wählen Sie den entsprechenden Kanal für das Mikrofon und den Empfänger.
Der Vorwahlkanal ist Kanal A.
Hinweis:
Bei Benutzung von 2 drahtlosen FM-Mikrofonen im selben Raum ist
einer der Mikrofonsätze auf Kanal B zu schalten.

andere Radios geschützt.

Mikrofonbatterie geschwächt. Durch eine neue Batterie ersetzen
Bei Störung durch einen anderen Funkdienst den anderen Kanal wählen
Sicherstellen, dass die Lautstärke der Audioquelle nicht auf einen zu hohen Pegel
eingestellt ist. Die Lautstärke verringern.
Den Empfänger bzw. das Mikrofon nicht in der Nähe von Leuchtstofflampen
positionieren
Den Mikrofoneingangspegel (falls möglich) sowie die Lautstärke an Ihrem
HiFi-oder Karaoke-System einstellen
Problem Abhilfe
Kein Sound
Prüfen, dass der DC-Verbinder richtig an den Empfänger und die Netzsteckdose
angeschlossen ist
Prüfen, dass sich das Mikrofon in der Position ON befindet und dass die
Mikrofonkanalwahl mit dem Empfänger übereinstimmt
Prüfen, dass das Audiokabel an den Mikrofoneingang des HiFi- oder
Karaoke-Systems angeschlossen ist. Ferner prüfen, ob die entsprechende
Audioquelle gewählt wurde
Mikrofonbatterie geschwächt. Durch eine neue Batterie ersetzen
Den Mikrofoneingangspegel (falls möglich) sowie die Lautstärke an Ihrem
HiFi-oder Karaoke-System einstellen

Stellen Sie die Lautstärke Ihres HiFi- oder Karaoke-Systems auf den
gewünschten Pegel ein.
Wenn ein Fehler auftritt, zuerst die nachstehenden Punkte überprüfen, bevor
das Gerät zur Reparatur gegeben wird.
Wenn Sie das Problem nicht durch Befolgen dieser Ratschläge lösen können,
sollten Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Ihr Reparaturzentrum wenden.
