Please read, follow and retain the

operating instructions! These operating

instructions describe several models with

accessories.

Safety Information

A Risk of electric shock and fire!

Connect and operate the appliance only in 

accordance with the specifications on the 

rating plate.

Keep children away from the appliance. 

Supervise children to prevent them from 

playing with the appliance.

Do not allow persons (also children) with 

restricted physical sensory perception or 

mental abilities or with lack of experience and 

knowledge to operate the appliance unless 

they are supervised or have been instructed in 

the use of the appliance by somebody who is 

responsible for their safety.

Do not use if the cord or appliance is 

damaged.

To protect the user, all repairs to the 

appliance, e.g. replacement of the power 

cord, should be carried out only by our 

customer service.

Do not

- 

bring the power cord into contact with hot 

parts

- 

pull the power cord over sharp edges,

- 

carry the appliance by the power cord.

Do not use near water which is

in the bath, washbasin or other

vessels.

Risk of death

Never bring the appliance into contact with 

water. There is a danger even when the 

appliance has been switched off. Therefore, 

after using the appliance or when taking 

a break from drying your hair, pull out the 

mains plug.

Additional protection will be provided if 

a residual-current-operated circuit-breaker 

up to 30 mA is fitted to your domestic power 

supply. Please ask an electrician for further 

information.

Using the appliance

Never cover the blower or intake opening.

Ensure that the intake opening does not

become blocked with fluff or hair.

If the hair dryer overheats, e.g.due to 

a covered ventilation opening, it will 

automatically switch off and then switch on 

again several minutes later.

Blower/Temperature

Off 

gentle / low strong / high

To predry towel-dry hair, select the powerful 

blower setting and a high temperature.

Keep the blower opening approx. 10 cm from 

your head.

Cooling button

The Cooling button can be 

switched on at any setting; ideal 

for styling/shaping your hair after 

drying.

Crimping nozzle

For drying/shaping specific parts 

of the hair. Nozzle must never 

touch the hair; select a gentle 

blower setting at a low 

temperature.

PH2323D only:

Diffuser

Ideal for smooth or out-of­

condition hair. Thickens fine, 

long or semi-long hair. Place pins 

directly on the scalp and 

distribute the air flow by circular 

movements. Set strong to high 

air flow.
