1. UnlockaDIMMsocketby

pressing the retaining clips

outward.

2. AlignaDIMMonthesocket

suchthatthenotchontheDIMM

matches the break on the socket.

3. FirmlyinserttheDIMMintothe

socket until the retaining clips

snapbackinplaceandtheDIMM

isproperlyseated.

Unlocked retaining clip

• ADDR2DIMMiskeyedwithanotchsothatittsinonlyonedirection.Do

NOTforceaDIMMintoasockettoavoiddamagingtheDIMM.

• ToinstalltwoormoreDIMMs,refertotheuserguidebundledinthe

motherboard package.

• Refertotheuserguideforqualiedvendorlistsofthememorymodules.
