3. Operation

Do not apply the treatment to a spot more than 3 times daily. You will normally notice an

improvement after the first treatment. If necessary, apply the treatment again 4 to 12 hours later.

1.  Remove the lid from the clear skin pen.

Clean the heating plate on the clear skin pen carefully before each application using a cloth

dampened with soapy water (or alcohol).

2.  Slide the battery compartment lid open. Place the supplied battery in the battery compartment

according to the markings on the device. Ensure that the correct battery polarity is observed. Close the

battery compartment again.

3.  Press the ON/OFF button.

You will hear a short acoustic signal. The green operating indicator lights up and the blue readiness

indicator starts to flash.

4.  After approx. one minute you will hear a number of rapid acoustic signals and the blue readiness

indicator will start to flash more quickly. The clear skin pen is now ready for use. To begin the

application, press the start button within 15 seconds.

The blue readiness indicator and the blue light on the treatment surface will light up. Place the small

heating plate gently on the spot. During the treatment cycle you will hear an acoustic signal every 6

seconds.

Do not press the treatment surface down firmly on the spot, as this can lead to severe reddening.

After approx. 2.5 minutes the treatment is complete and you will hear several acoustic signals one after

the other. Remove the treatment surface from the affected area.

5.  If you want to treat another spot, press the start button again and hold the heating plate to the affected

area, otherwise the device will switch off automatically after 15 seconds.

If you do not want to continue the treatment and would like to switch off the device, press the ON/OFF

button.

A temporary, mild reddening after application is normal.
