1. Intended use
The FCE 79 illuminated cosmetics mirror aids your daily skin care and cosmetics routine. The cosmetics mirror has
five times magnification.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for
damage resulting from improper or careless use.
This device is intended for domestic use only, not for commercial purposes.
This device may be used by children over the age of eight and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use
the device safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
Children should be supervised around the device to ensure they do not play with it.

4. Initial use
4.1 Inserting the batteries
In order to use the cosmetics mirror, you first need to insert the supplied batteries. To insert the batteries, follow
the steps below:
1. Remove the battery compartment lid on the rear of the device.
2. Insert the three supplied 1.5V AA (alkaline type LR6) batteries. Make sure that the batteries are inserted with
the correct polarity, according to the label. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment lid carefully.

4.2 Installation
You can attach the FCE 79 cosmetics mirror either to a smooth surface (e.g. glass or tiles) using the suction
caps, or to a wall using the screws.
Option 1: Installation on smooth surfaces using suction caps
WARNING
If you are using the suction caps to install the cosmetics mirror, make sure that there are no objects below it
that can be easily broken or scratched. The suction of the caps may decrease over time. Therefore check reg-
ularly that the mirror is attached securely.
1. Moisten the suction caps with a little water.
2. Attach the cosmetics mirror to a smooth surface
that is clean and free of grease.

6. Maintenance and cleaning
Replacing the battery
If the inserted batteries have reached the end of their service life, you must replace them.
To replace the batteries, follow the instructions in “4.1 Inserting the batteries”.
Cleaning
WARNING
- Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circumstances may liquid enter the device.
- Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
- Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or hard brushes.
Clean the device using a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Then wipe dry with a soft, lint-
free cloth.
7. Replacement parts and wearing parts
Replacement parts and wearing parts are available from the corresponding service address (according to the
service address list). Please state the corresponding order number.

8. Disposal
