Please read these instructions for use carefully and keep them for later use, be sure to make them accessible to
other users and observe the information they contain.

• Thelightofthedaylightlampisonlyintendedforuseonthehumanbody.
• Beforeuse,ensurethatallpackagingmaterialsareremovedandthatthereisnovisibledamagetothe
unit or accessories. When in doubt, do not use the unit and contact your dealer or the customer service
address provided.
• Alsoensurethatthedaylightlamphasafirmfooting.
• Thehousingofthelampgetswarmduringoperation.Touchingitmayresultinburns!Alwaysletthelamp
cool off before touching it.
• Themandatoryminimumdistancebetweenthedaylightlampandflammableobjectsis1.0m.
• Connecttheunitonlytothemainsvoltagelistedonthetypeplate.
• Donotdiptheunitintowateranddonotuseitinwetrooms.
• Donotuseitinthevicinityofpeoplewhoarehelpless,childrenunderage3orpeoplewhoareinsensitive
toheat(peoplewithskinlesionsduetoillness);donotuseaftertakingpainkillersordrugsordrinking
alcohol.
• Keepchildrenawayfrompackagingmaterials(riskofsuffocation).
• Donotcoveruporpackawaytheunitwhileitiswarm.
• Alwaysremovethemainsplugandlettheunitcooloffbeforeyoutouchit.
• Donottouchtheunitwithwethandswhileitispluggedin;donotallowanywatertobesprayedontothe
unit. The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.
•Keepthemainscableawayfromhotobjectsandnakedflames.
• Protecttheunitfromstrongimpacts.
• Donotpullthemainsplugfromthesocketbythecord.
• Ifthecordorthehousingisdamaged,contactcustomerserviceorthedealer,sincespecialtoolsarenee-
ded to make repairs.
•Disconnectionfromthemainssupplyisonlyguaranteedifthemainsplughasbeenremovedfromtheso-
cket.
•Thefluorescenttubeinthedevicecontainsasmallamountofmercury.Ifafluorescenttubebreaks
in your home, part of the mercury escapes in the form of mercury vapour. To ensure the least
possible contact with the mercury vapour released in this case, open the windows and air the room
for 5-10 minutes.
•Donotusethedeviceinthepresenceofflammableanaestheticgasconnectionswithair,oxygen
or nitrogen oxide.
•Nocalibrationandnopreventativechecksormaintenanceistobecarriedoutonthisdevice.
•Youcannotrepairthedevice.Thedevicecontainsnopartsthatyoucanrepair.
•Donotmakeanychangestothedevicewithoutthemanufacturer’spermission.
•Ifthedevicehasbeenchanged,thoroughtestsandchecksmustbecarriedouttoensurethe
continued safety of further use of the device.

• Peoplewithretinaldiseasesaswellasdiabeticsneedtobeexaminedbyanophthalmologistbeforebe-
ginning to use the daylight lamp.
• Pleasedonotuseifyouhaveaneyediseasesuchascataracts,glaucoma,diseasesoftheopticnervein
general and inflammation of the vitreous humour.
• Ifyouhavehealthconcernsofanykind,contactyourgeneralpractitioner!
• Beforeyouusetheunitforthefirsttime,removeallpackagingmaterials.
• Thelamptubesandstarterareexcludedfromthewarranty.
