Warning
Take off your jewellery (e.g. watches, rings, etc.) before treatment.
Afteryouhavecompletedthenecessarypreparationsfrom“Chapter6Initialuse”,youcanbegin
usingthedevice.Tostartthetreatment,carryoutthefollowingsteps:
•Werecommendapplyingalanolin-basedhandlotionto
the areas to be treated before treatment. This will help
youachieveabetterresult,andwillmakeiteasierto
removetheparaffinwaxaftertreatment.
Warning
When using the paraffin bath on your feet, only use it sitting
down.Neverstandintheparaffinbath.
•Brieflysubmergetheareatobetreated(yourhand,foot
or elbow) for 1-2 seconds in the liquid paraffin wax.
Removeyourhandagainandwaitbrieflyuntilthewax
1-2 s
hassolidified.Duringthistime,donotmovethetreated
area, so that the wax can solidify properly.
•Repeattheprocessofsubmergingandpullingoutsix
6-7 x
toseventimes,untilseverallayersofparaffinwaxhave
formedoverthetreatmentareas.Iftheparaffinwaxis
either too hot or too cold for you during the treatment
period, turn the temperature controller clockwise or anti-
clockwise, to increase or decrease the temperature as
required.
•Nowputasheetonthetreatedarea,pressitontothe
paraffin wax and twist the end shut. Keep the sheet on
for 20 minutes.
Warning
Ifyouarewearingtheplasticsleeversonyourfeet,donot
run around in them. You could slip.
•After20minutes,takethesheetandthelayersofwaxoff
the treated area. Dispose the sheet in the general waste;
it cannot be reused.
•Aftereachuse,taketheprotectivegrilleoutofthe
paraffin bath.
