Beurer PS 45: 7. Storage and maintenance

7. Storage and maintenance: Beurer PS 45

•

Note that with very muscular physiques (body builders), the BMI interpretation will show

overweight. The reason for this is that no account is taken of well above average muscle

mass in the BMI formula.

•

Remember that only long-term trends are important. Short-term fluctuations in weight

over a few days are usually the result of a loss of fluid.

Interpretation

The BMI values are interpreted in the

evaluation graph as bars. When the values

are low, the bar is shown to the left (-). When the bar is in the middle area, the values are normal. While

in the right-hand area (+) the values are relatively high.

Trend display

This scale is equipped with a trend display for weight, which compares the current reading with the

average value of all stored measurements.

Upward trend display : The current reading is higher than the average of stored measurements.

Downward trend display : The current reading is lower than the average of stored measurements.

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the scale with the batteries in the household waste

at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point.
