Itisrecommendedtousethekettleforseveraltimesfollowinginstructionsgivenbelowandtoremoveremaining
waterbeforerstusage.Thiswillremoveanymaterialsordustremainedintheappliancefromthemanufacturing
process.
1.OpenthelidbyturningtheLidupwhilepressingtheLidbuttonandpourwaterintothekettle.Thenreplacethe
lid,otherwisethekettlewouldnotbeabletoturnothepowerautomaticallyafterwaterhasboiled.
Caution: the lled water level must be between the “Max” and “Min” level as indicated on the housing. Too little water
will damage the heat element and if the kettle is overlled, boiling water may splash out.
2.Replacethekettleonthepowerbaseandconnecttopowersupply.Positionthekettlesothatthespoutofthe
kettleisfacingawayfromyou.
3.Presstheswitchbuttonto“I”positionandthelightwillashon.Andwaterwillstarttoheatup.Donotopenthe
lidwhilethewaterisboiling.
Caution: Ensure that the switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is rmly closed. The kettle will not turn o if the switch
is constrained or if the lid is left open.
4.Powerwillbecutoautomaticallyandtheswitchwillbebackto“0”positiononcewaterhasbeenboiled.And
thelightwillbeo.
5.Liftthekettlefromthepowerbaseandthenpourthewater.
Note: Be careful when pouring water from the kettle, as boiling water
may cause scalding.
6.Theboilingprocesscanbeterminatedatanytimebyliftingthe
kettleothepowerbaseorpressingtheswitchto“0”position.
caution
• Neverusetheappliancewhenitisempty.Ifsuchsituationwilloccur,thethermalcut-oinsidethekettlewould
turnothepowerautomatically.Unplugtheapplianceandletitcooldowncompletely.
• Theltermustbeinplaceduringtheworkoftheapplianceotherwisewaterspillagemayoccur.
Note: Ensure the power is turned o while the kettle is not in use.
