Indoor DVB-T antenna

Introduction:

This is an antenna specially designed for digital terrestrial TV broadcasting reception. It is the best

solution for home reception and digital portable TV reception. The antenna is an active antenna that

can be used with TV or set-top box which supports coaxial cable powering, or using a power adapter

for external powering. Desktop stand for vertical or horizontal mounting is included.

Installation:

Note: For the best reception, please check the following conditions:

1. Keep the antenna away from the sources of interference: keep the

antenna away from those big power consumption devices, such as air

conditioners, elevators, hair dryers and microwave ovens...etc.

2. Place the antenna near a window when using the antenna in an indoor

environment.

3. Install the antenna as high as possible: in digital terrestrial reception, if

there are some interceptions between the antenna and the

transmission tower, it will cause temporary signal loss. So if the

antenna is installed as high as possible, those interceptions will be

reduced.

Installation 1: Powered by DTV set-top box (Fig.1)

Please note that in this installation, you need to make sure that your set-top box (STB) can support

coaxial cable 5V DC powering via the IEC connector to the antenna.

Step 1: Take out the antenna main unit and accessories from the box.

Step 2: Connect the antenna and the DTV set-top box (1) with the coaxial cable

Step 3: Connect the DTV set-top box to your TV (2). Please make sure the coaxial cable powering

function of your STB is ON. (Please check the operation manual of your STB for coaxial cable

powering function)

Step 4: Adjust the antenna (turn around the antenna body in different directions or put it vertically or

horizontally) in the best position for receiving of digital TV signal. (It is recommended to place the

antenna near the window where the digital TV signal comes in).

Step 5: To be neat, tidy and safe, organize the coaxial cable.

Installation 2: Powered by AC/DC adapter (Fig.2)

Step 1: Take out the antenna main unit and accessories from the box.

Step 2: Connect the antenna and the DTV set-top box (1) with the coaxial cable; or, connect the

antenna directly with your TV (in that case, skip Step 3 and go to Step 4).

Step 3: Connect the DTV set-top box to your TV (2)

Step 4: Connect the power adapter DC output jack to the DC input connector of the antenna, and then

plug the AC/DC power adapter into the AC power socket. (3)

Step 5: Adjust the antenna (turn around the antenna body in different directions or put it vertically or

horizontally) in the best position for receiving of digital TV signal. (It is recommended to place the

antenna near the window where the digital TV signal comes in.).

Step6: To be neat, tidy and safe, organize the Coaxial Cable.

Note: After finish the installation, you can use your set-top box to check the signal strength and quality.

If you cannot have a stable image, please move the antenna to a better position for signal reception

(Note: this antenna can be placed vertically or horizontally for signal reception, as shown in Fig.3).

When you find the best position, please fix it.

Installation:

Hinweis: Für den bestmöglichen Empfang überprüfen Sie bitte folgende

Bedingungen:

1. Halten Sie die Antenne von Störquellen fern: Nicht in der Nähe von

Geräten aufstellen, die viel Strom verbrauchen, z. B. Klimaanlagen,

Aufzüge, Haartrockner, Mikrowellenherde etc.

2. Stellen Sie die Antenne beim Einsatz in Innenräumen in der Nähe eines

Fensters auf.

3. Stellen Sie die Antenne so hoch wie möglich auf. Wenn es

Unterbrechungen im Empfang des digitalen terrestrischen Signals gibt,

kann es zum Signalausfall kommen. Dies kann reduziert werden,

indem die Antenne so hoch wie möglich aufgestellt wird.

Installation 1: Spannungsversorgung über DVB-T Receiver (Abbildung 1)

Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie bei dieser Installation überprüfen müssen, ob Ihr DVB-T Receiver

geeignet ist, die 5 V DC Spannungsversorgung für die Antenne über das Koaxkabel auszugeben.

Schritt 1: Nehmen Sie die Antenne und das Zubehör aus der Verpackung.

Schritt 2: Verbinden Sie die Antenne und den DVB-T Receiver (1) über das Koaxkabel

Schritt 3: Verbinden Sie den DVB-T Receiver mit Ihrem TV-Gerät (2). Überprüfen Sie, ob die 5 V DC

Spannungsversorgung für aktive Antennen im Menü des DVB-T Receivers aktiviert ist. (Hinweise

hierzu finden Sie im Handbuch Ihres DVB-T Receivers.)

Schritt 4: Richten Sie die Antenne aus (drehen Sie die Antenne in verschiedene Richtungen und

stellen Sie diese horizontal oder vertikal auf). Finden Sie so die Position mit dem besten Empfang. (Es

ist empfehlenswert, die Antenne in der Nähe eines Fensters zu positionieren.)

Schritt 5: Verlegen Sie das Koaxkabel sauber, ordentlich und sicher.

Installation 2: Spannungsversorgung über Netzteil (Abbildung 2)

Schritt 1: Nehmen Sie die Antenne und das Zubehör aus der Verpackung.

Schritt 2: Verbinden Sie die Antenne und den DVB-T Receiver (1) über das Koaxkabel oder

verbinden Sie die Antenne direkt mit Ihrem TV-Gerät (überspringen Sie in diesem Fall den Schritt 3

und machen Sie bei Schritt 4 weiter).

Schritt 3: Verbinden Sie den DVB-T Receiver mit Ihrem TV (2)

Schritt 4: Verbinden Sie den DC Ausgang des Netzteils mit dem DC Eingang an der Antenne und

stecken sie dann das Netzteil in eine Steckdose. (3)

Schritt 5: Richten Sie die Antenne aus (drehen Sie die Antenne in verschiedene Richtungen und

stellen Sie diese horizontal oder vertikal auf). Finden Sie so die Position mit dem besten Empfang. (Es

ist empfehlenswert, die Antenne in der Nähe eines Fensters zu positionieren.)

Schritt 6: Verlegen Sie das Koaxkabel sauber, ordentlich und sicher.

Hinweis: Nachdem Sie die Installation abgeschlossen haben, können Sie die Signalstärke und

-qualität am Receiver überprüfen. Wenn Sie keinen stabilen Empfang haben, bewegen Sie bitte die

Antenne in eine bessere Position. (Hinweis: Die Antenne kann vertikal oder horizontal aufgestellt

werden, vgl. Abbildung 3). Wenn Sie die beste Position gefunden haben, fixieren sie die Antenne.

sollte dieses Produkt AUSSCHLIESSLICH von einem

autorisierten Techniker geöffnet werden. Bei Problemen

trennen Sie das Gerät bitte von der Spannungsversorgung

kommt.
