Make  sure  that  the  top  cover  is  fitted  cor

rectly.

Make sure the button is blue.

Should there be no response from the button re-

move the power cord and wait 10 seconds before 

plugging it back in. This will reset the appliance.

Should the appliance be faulty please either re-

turn  the  product  in  its  original  packaging  with 

proof  of  purchase  or  contact  the  local  Hotpoint-

Ariston [Hotpoint] customer service centre.

In the unlikely event that the UV bulb should fail 

the  UV  icon  will  flash  and  alarm  20  times.  No 

water will be dispensed until steps C1 to C7 and 

steps C14 to C15 are completed.

The appliance has attained and  complies with the

CE, NSF 42 & 53, NSF 55a, NSF P231,   RohS, REACh.

The European Directive 2002/96/

EC relating to Waste Electrical and 

Electronic Equipment (WEEE) 

states that household appliances 

should not be disposed of using the 

normal solid urban waste cycle. Ex

lected separately in order to optimise the cost of 

re-using and recycling the materials inside the 

machine, while preventing potential damage to 

the atmosphere and to public health. The crossed-

out dustbin is marked on all products to remind 

the owners of their obligations regarding separat-

ed waste collection. For further information relat-

ing  to  the  correct  disposal  of  exhausted  house

hold appliances, the owners may contact the

A  reduction  performance  of  100%  was  considered  for  parameters  below  the  detectability  limit  after 

filtration

The parameters of Italian Legislative Decree 31/2001 (as amended by WATER MACHINE) are included 

in the following list with the relevant performance values guaranteed for a filter's lifespan based on an 

average annual use of 1500 litres.

Other parameters of Italian Legislative Decree 31/2001 (as amended) are iron, copper and nitrates.
