The machine is locked and

This means there is a problem with the machine. Before calling Assistance, please follow

the display flashes,

the set of instructions below:

indicating an error code (e.g.

1. Switch off the machine.

F-01, F- ...) .

2. Remove the plug connecting the appliance to the mains supply and wait for at least 40

seconds.

3. Place the plug back into the socket.

4. Switch on the machine.

5. If the problem is still evident after this process has been carried out, contact

Assistance.

Before calling for Assistance:

 Check whether you can solve the problem on your own (see pages 23, 24);

 Restart the programme to check whether the problem has been solved;

 If this is not the case, contact an authorised Technical Service Centre on the telephone number

provided on the guarantee certificate.

 If the machine has been installed or used incorrectly, you may be charged for the maintenance callout service.

 Always request the assistance of authorised servicemen.

Notify the operator of:

 the type of problem;

 the appliance model (Mod.);

 the serial number (S/N).

This information can be found on the data plate situated on the rear of the washing machine.
