Timer

When the timer is set, it can run in the background

while the scale is in use.

1. Briefl y press the button ”MODE”; press once if the

display shows the time, and twice if the display

shows weight. The timer function will be activated,

and the display shows “00.00” and “TMR”.

2. Press down the button ”MODE”, until the two zeros

at the right are fl ashing. Set the desired amount of

seconds by pressing the button ”UNIT”.

3. Press button ”MODE” once again. The two zeros on

the left will start fl ashing. Set the desired amount of

minutes by pressing the button ”UNIT”.

4. Press the ”MODE” key again, to complete the

setting. The countdown starts automatically.

5. When the timer reaches ”00:00”, an alarm will

sound. You can turn off the alarm by pressing a

random key.

6. If you want to stop the countdown before time,

press the button “UNIT”. The countdown will stop.

The countdown will resume, when you press “UNIT”

again.

7. Press the button “MODE” to return to the displaying

of the time.

Tips!

If you press the keys of the kitchen scale or push

the weighing platform down without having tilted the

lower part down, the display might show the message

“UnSF”, or another message to indicate that it is not

safe to use the kitchen scale in this way. Always tilt

down the lower part, before the kitchen scale is used.

Tilt the lower part up along the top, when the scale is

not in use.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES

The battery should be replaced when the display shows

the message “Lo”. Dismount the battery cover on the

back of the scale, and pull the battery out of the holders

in the battery enclosure. Put in the new battery. Make

sure that the polarity is correct; the positive pole of

the battery (+) has to point in your direction. Close the

cover.

CLEANING

Clean the scale using a damp cloth and, if

necessary, a little washing-up liquid.

Do not use scouring powder, steel wool or strong

detergents to clean the scale, as this may scratch it.

The guarantee does not apply:

if the above instructions are not followed

if the appliance has been interfered with

if the appliance has been mishandled, subjected to

rough treatment, or has suffered any other form of

damage

if faults have arisen as a result of faults in your
