Only qualified contractors should carry out installation, 

commissioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.

6.1  General safety instructions

We guarantee trouble-free operation and operational reliability 

only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the 

appliance are used.

6.2  Instructions, standards and regulations

Observe all applicable national and regional regulations 

and instructions.

6.3  water installation

6.3.1  Cold water line

Steel or copper pipes or plastic pipework are approved as 

materials.

A safety assembly is required (see chapter “Special accessories / 

Safety assembly and pressure reducing valve”).

6.3.2  DHW line

Copper or plastic pipework are approved materials.

Risk of damage

When using plastic pipework, observe chapter 

"Specification / Fault conditions".

The appliance must be operated with pressure taps.

7.2  Special accessories

Dummy flanges, indirect coils and flanged immersion heaters are 

available as special accessories.

7.2.1  Safety assembly and pressure reducing valve

This type-tested safety assembly protects the appliance against 

unacceptable excess pressure.
