Binatone EEJ-1555 B-QUICK: USEFUL ADVICE
USEFUL ADVICE: Binatone EEJ-1555 B-QUICK
Removing water out of the appliance
1. Press the lid release button (4).
2. Hold your appliance over a sink. Then, tip your appliance
upside down (see fig. B,C).
3. Still holding your appliance over the sink, turn it the right side
up and allow any water to drain out of the dispensing nozzle
(9). See fig. D.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the water has been emptied from
your appliance.
5. Store the appliance only after its parts are completely dry.
Attention: if your appliance will not be used for an
extended period (e.g. if you are on holiday), we
recommend that you first empty it. Before using your
Appliance again, carry out several boil cycles
discarding the water each time.
USEFUL ADVICE
In regions with high water hardness it is neces-
sary to remove scale from the appliance regularly
to keep it in good working order, since excessive
scale in the appliance may cause its incorrect op-
eration or breakdown.
Frequency of cleaning depends on the degree
of tap water hardness in your region and on fre-
quency of the appliance use. If water in your house is hard, we
recommend filtering it – it will decrease scale deposit.
Warning: to extend working life of the appliance, de-scale it
not less than once per three months.
De-scaling the appliance
1. Check the correct positioning of the appliance (see the section
«INSTRUCTIONS ON USE», points 1-3).
2. Fill your appliance to the MAX fill level and place an empty cup
on the drip tray (8).
3. Set the on/off switch (2) to the on position and wait for the
water to be dispensed into the cup.
4. Add a citric acid-based proprietary descaling product to the
hot water in the cup and stir.
5. Open the cover (3) by pressing the button (4) and pour the
content of the cup into the water container (5). Close the
cover.
6. Place the empty cup on the drip tray (8) and set the on/off
switch to the on position.
7. Wait for the water to be dispensed into the cup.
8. Discard the water from the cup.
9. Repeat steps 6, 7 and 8 until the water level is at the MIN
mark. Open the lid and empty any remaining water into the
sink. Rinse your appliance by filling it with clean water and
emptying it into the sink (see the section «REMOVING WA-
TER OUT OF THE APPLIANCE»). Fill your appliance with
10
fresh water to the MAX fill level and place an empty cup on the
drip tray.
10.Set the on/off switch to the on position and wait for the water
to be dispensed into the cup.
11.Discard the water in the cup.
12.Repeat steps 10 and 11 until the water level is at the MIN
mark. Open the lid and empty any remaining water into the
sink (see the section «DE-SCALING THE APPLIANCE»).
Any other works should be performed in the authorized ser-
vice center.
Do not store the appliance if it is hot or connected to the
network. If you do not use the appliance, put it in a box after
ENGLISH
cooling and store in a safe, dry place, out of children’s reach.
