after using your juice extractor

Before cleaning and storing your juice extractor, follow the instructions below to disassemble

the unit:

•Turnjuiceextractoroff“

”andunplugitfromtheelectricaloutlet.

•Removefoodpusherfromfoodchute.

•Presslockinglatchtotherighttounfastenclamp,thenliftthecoverupandremoveit

fromthejuiceextractor.

•Usetheatportionofthecleaningtooltoscoopexcesspulpfromthetopoftheunit

andcoverintothepulpcollectingcontainer.

•Removethecupandthepulpcollectingcontainerbytiltingitslightly.

•Inordertoremovethelterbasketandthelter,holdthelterbasketwithtwohands

thenliftitstraightup.Thestainlesssteellterbasketcontainssmallsharpbladesfor

cuttingandprocessingfruitsandvegetables. Donottouchbladeswhenhandlingthelter

basket.

•Turnjuiceextractoroff“ ”andunplugitfromtheelectricaloutlet.

•Disassembleallremovablepartsofthejuiceextractor. Allpartsexceptthebaseare

dishwashersafe. The filter basket, stainless steel filter and food pusher should be placed

onthetopshelfofthedishwasher.Selecttheminimumtemperature.

•Itisveryimportanttokeeptheltercleanandfreeofresidues

thatblocktheholestoensureoptimalperformance.Use

the nylon brush that comes with the unit to clean it thoroughly, as

needed(Figure7).

•Wipethemotorbasewithadampordrycloth.

•Donotimmersethemotorbaseinwateroranyotherliquid.

•Whenhandwashing,avoidsoakingpartsindetergentfortoolong.

•Verifythatdishwashingdetergentsaresuitableforcleaningplasticitems.
