OPERATION OPERATION

Since devices with Bluetooth

®

technology communicate through radio waves, your carkit and your mobile phone do not

need to be in direct line-of-sight. The 2 devices only need to be within a maximum of 10 meters of each other, so you don’t

need to take your phone out of your pocket or bag to make and receive calls via the carkit.

Since Bluetooth

®

phones produced by different manufacturers provide various functionalities; some functions described in

this user’s manual could be different or may not be available.

SWITCHING ON/OFF

If the mr Handsfree Blue Compact is connected to the power via the adapter with cable SC3, you can switch on the unit by

clicking the adapter into the cigarette lighter.

If the mr Handsfree Blue Compact is connected to the power via cable SC2 or MB1 or Pro Music 100, the unit will switch

on automatically when you turn the ignition key on.

Mr Handsfree Blue Compact will turn off automatically when the ignition is off.

MENU STRUCTURE

All functions of the unit are grouped in the menu.

•

To access the menu, press the central button once. The menu of quick access appears on the display.

•

USER PROFILES

The Blue Compact supports a multiple user profiles structure. The maximum quantity of user profiles is four. Every user

can copy and keep in the carkit memory his phonebook, call list and configuration settings of the device. The name of each

nect with the corresponding phone. If the last paired phone is not found, the carkit will switch to Standby mode. For your
