 Start the 'Heating' function with the ON/OFF key (B).

 An animated heating symbol appears on the LC display, see 

fi g. 7.

 The heating bath is heated up to the set temperature.

 The target and actual temperature referred to the medium are 

shown on the LC display, see fi g. 7.

Select tempering medium

  If a target value > 90° C is set, the PID controller is adapted 

specially for oil.

 The symbol OIL appears on the LC display, see fi g. 8.

 If the target value is reset to 20 °C the PID controller is adjus-

ted again specially to water.

 The OIL symbol will disappear from the LCD display, see e.g. 

fi g. 7.

Key lock button

The  operating  settings  can  be  locked  by  pressing  (hold  for  2 

seconds)  the  key  lock  button  (E) 

,preventing any inad-

vertent changes during operation. The red function LED lights 

up when this function is activated. Press the key lock button (E) 

again (hold for 2 seconds)  to unlock the operating set-

tings. The red function LED is extinguished.

Interface

Data transfer via IR interface

The heating bath transfers data via IR interfaces. These are loca-

ted on the left display side of the heating bath or on the right 

side of the drive unit. Do not place any objects between the two 

operating units as otherwise the data transfer may be interrup-

ted (fi g. 12)!

Remote Mode

Using the laboratory device software “labworldsoft” and the ro-

taty evaporator RV 10 digital/ control the device can be operated 

in “Remote” mode. In this mode, the device can no longer be 

hand-operated.

Assembly spray guard HB 10.1

 Assemble the spray guard as illustrated.

- Place the bracket of the spray guard on the front edge of the heating bath.

- Attach the spray guard by tightening the screws using a screwdriver.

Assembly Cover HB 10.2

 Assemble spray guard and cover as illustrated.

- Push the angled sheet on the back part of the cover into the guide rails at 

the rear of the heating bath.

- Screw the back and front part of the  cover to the spray guard.

IR
