PROGRAMMING THE GUEST MODE: Tanita UM-041

Take a Reading
After programming your personal data you are ready to take a reading.
Select Personal Data Number
Pressthe“Up”arrowbuttontoturntheuniton.
Pressthe“Up/Down”arrowbuttonstoselectpersonaldatanumber.
Pressthesetbutton.
The unit will beep and the display will show “0.0”.
Now step onto the platform.
Get Your Readings
Yourweightwillbeshownfirst.Continuetostandontheplatform.
“00000” will appear on the display and disappear one by one from left to right.
The readings will be shown alternately 3 times as follows:
Weight Body fat percentage Total body water percentage
Note: Do not step off until “00000” disappears.
Recall Function (UM-041 only)
Toobtainpreviousreadings,presstheSETbuttonwhilethecurrentreadingsarebeingdisplayed.
PresstheSETbuttonagaintogobacktothecurrentWeightandBodyFat%resultdisplay.

Guestmodeallowsyoutoprogrammetheunitforaone-timeusewithoutresettingaPersonaldatanumber.
PresstheDownbuttontoactivatetheunit.Thenfollowthesteps:SetAge,SelectFemaleorMale,andSpecifyHeight.

Tap the Weight-Only key to select Weight only mode.
