Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include valuable advice on safety and how to
use the appliance. Look after these operating instructions carefully.

SAFETY WARNINGS
• Important: In order to guarantee additional protection, it is
recommended that a differential breaker with an intervention
current not greater than 30 mA is installed in the electrical system
which powers the appliance. For further information, contact a
qualified electrician.
• Make sure the appliance is perfectly dry before use
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
• This appliance can be used by children of 8 years and over, and
by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or
who lack the relevant experience and knowledge, provided they
are suitably supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the appliance and made aware of the associated risks.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
• Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance procedures
without supervision.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly. Do not try
to repair this electrical appliance yourself, contact an authorized
technician instead. If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off.
• Only connect the appliance to alternating current and check that the
mains supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the
appliance.

• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not put the appliance down where it could fall into water or
other liquids.
• Do not try to pull any electrical appliance out when it has fallen
into water – disconnect the plug from the power socket
immediately.
• Always switch the appliance off before putting it down.
• After use always switch the appliance off and remove the plug
from the power socket. Do not pull on the wire to remove the plug
from the power socket.
• Do not pull the plug out of the power socket with wet hands.
• When using the appliance make sure the air intake and exhaust
grilles are never obstructed. (fig.1)
• Before wearing and using the appliance, check that the air channels
in the hood are correctly positioned and are not bent or twisted.

• Always allow the appliance to cool before putting it away and never
wrap the cord around it.
• The elements used to pack the appliance (plastic bags, cardboard
box, etc.) must be kept out of reach of children as they are a
potential hazard.
• The appliance must only be used for the purposes for which it is
expressly intended. Any other use is to be considered improper
and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer shall not be held
responsible for damage or injury deriving from improper or
incorrect use.
• Do not use hair spray while the appliance is running.
• Do not remove the appliance from the head while it is switched
on: always set the switch to 0 first.
Important
This appliance conforms to the safety regulations regarding electrical appliances.
This appliance has a safety cut-out which will operate in case of overheating. The dryer will re-set itself after
being left to cool for a few minutes, but please check air inlet and outlet grills are perfectly clean before
continuing to use the dryer.

“ION” FUNCTION
The “ION” function on this product is always on. It produces a flow of negative ions that promotes healthy hair,
has a restorative effect and makes your hair softer and more manageable, with greater volume and shine.
Negatively charged ions help to reduce static electricity, “fly away” hair and unwanted frizziness.
OPERATING TIPS
1. Wash your hair and towel-dry it before using the appliance.
2. Put your hair in rollers as you usually do.
3. Plug in the appliance to the power socket.
4. Simply suspend the appliance from the neck strap (with the switches and the power cord on the Ieft).
5. Put the hood on your head. The small air outlets in the hood should face the inside.
6. Connect the hood by fitting the elastic hose on the blower outlet. (fig. 2)
7. To work and inflate correctly, the hood must not support the weight of the blower; adjust the length of the neck
strap as required. (fig. 3)
8. To dry your hair set the switch to 1 or 2. After drying, set the switch to “C” (COOL) for 1 or 2 minutes to allow
the curls to hold better.
9. Switch off the appliance by setting the switch to 0.
10. Finally, remove the hood from your head.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the power socket before beginning to clean the unit!
Allow the appliance and the accessories to cool down before cleaning.
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth, but never immerse it in water or any other liquid!
Remove and clean the accessories used.
This appliance conforms to European Directives 2004/108/CE, 2009/125/CE, 2006/95/CE
and Regulation (EC) no. 1275/2008.
GUARANTEE
VALERA guarantees the appliance you have bought at following conditions:
1. The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our dealer in the country of sale. In Switzerland
and in the countries subject to the European directive 44/99/CE the guarantee period is 24 months for domestic
use and 12 months for professional or similar use. The guarantee period starts from the date of purchase as
stated on the present guarantee card regularly filled out and stamped by the dealer or on the sale’s invoice.
2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of the present guarantee card or the sale’s invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen during the guarantee period resulting from proven
faults in material or workmanship. The elimination of the defects will be made either by repairing the appliance
or exchanging it. The guarantee does not cover any damage arising from incorrect connection to the power
supply, improper use, breakage, normal wear and non-compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for eventual damages outside of the appliance, are excluded,
unless our liability is legally mandatory.
5. The guarantee service is carried out free of charge; it does not affect the expiry date of the guarantee.
6. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons.
For UK only: this guarantee in no way affects your rights under statutory law.
In case of defect, please return the appliance well packed and together with the guarantee card regularly dated and
stamped to one of our Valera Service Centres or to the dealer who will send it to the official importer for the
guarantee service.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Wichtig: Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-
schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungauslösestrom von nicht mehr
als 30 mA im Badezimmerstromkreis empfohlen. Lassen Sie sich von Ihrem
Elektroinstallateur beraten.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät völlig trocken ist, bevor Sie es benutzen.
• ACHTUNG: Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von

der Haube korrekt ohne Verdrehungen und Verengungen verlaufen. (Abb.1)
• Lassen Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es weglegen
und wickeln Sie niemals das Kabel um das Gerät.
• Die Verpackungselemente des Geräts (Plastikbeutel, Kartons usw.) dürfen
nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden, da sie eine potentielle
Gefahrenquelle darstellen.
• Dieses Gerät darf nur für solche Zwecke benutzt werden, für die es eigens
entwickelt wurde. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als unsachgemäß und ist
daher als gefährlich einzustufen. Der Hersteller haftet nicht für eventuelle
Schäden, die auf eine unsachgemäße oder fehlerhafte Verwendung
zurückzuführen sind.
• Verwenden Sie kein Haarspray, während das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

Wichtig
Dieses Gerät entspricht den Sicherheitsvorschriften für Elektrogeräte.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Sicherheitsthermostat ausgestattet. Bei Überhitzung schaltet es sich automatisch
selbst ab.
Nach einer kurzen Betriebspause schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch wieder ein. Dennoch sollten Sie sich
vergewissern, dass die Lufteinlass- und -austrittsöffnungen völlig frei sind.

elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden muss. Durch Ihren Beitrag zum korrekten Entsorgen dieses Produktes

FUNKTION “ION”
Die Funktion “ION” des Gerätes ist immer aktiv. Sie erzeugt einen Fluss negativer Ionen, der Ihre Haare pflegt, eine
regenerierende Wirkung hat, Ihr Haar weich macht, so dass es leicht zu kämmen ist, und Ihrer Frisur Fülle und Glanz verleiht.
Die negativ geladenen Ionen tragen dazu bei, die statische Elektrizität („fly-away“-Effekt) zu verringern und
widerspenstiges und gekräuseltes Haar in den Griff zu bekommen.
GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE
1. Vor dem Gebrauch des Gerätes das Haar waschen und mit einem Handtuch trocknen.
2. Die Lockenwickler wie üblich ins Haar eindrehen.
3. Den Gerätestecker in die Steckdose stecken.
4. Legen Sie das Gerät mit dem Riemen quer über der Brust an (die Schalter und das Netzkabel müssen dabei
auf der linken Seite liegen).
5. Setzen Sie die Trockenhaube auf und achten Sie darauf, dass die Luftaustrittsöffnungen nach innen zum Haar
gerichtet sind.
6. Verbinden Sie die Haube mit dem Gerät; schieben Sie dabei den flexiblen Teil auf den Stutzen des Luftaustritts.

7. Für einen störungsfreien Gerätebetrieb und ein korrektes Aufblähen darf die Haube nicht das Gewicht des
Gebläseteils tragen; stellen Sie daher die Länge des Aufhängeriemens dementsprechend ein. (Abb.3)
8. Stellen Sie zum Haartrocknen den Schalter auf Position 1 oder 2. Stellen Sie nach dem Trocknen den Schalter
1 bis 2 Minuten auf Position “C” (COOL), um den Locken längeren Halt zu verleihen.
9. Drehen Sie zum Abschalten des Gerätes den Schalter auf Position 0.
10. Nehmen Sie die Haube wieder ab.
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts immer den Netzstecker!
Lassen Sie das Gerät und das verwendete Zubehör vor der Reinigung abkühlen.
Sie können das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, tauchen Sie es aber niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten!
Nehmen Sie auch die verwendeten Aufsätze ab und reinigen Sie sie.
Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Bestimmungen der europäischen Richtlinien 2004/108/EG, 2009/125/EG,
2006/95/EG und der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1275/2008.
GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
VALERA leistet für dieses Gerät - zusätzlich zu der gesetzlichen Gewährleistung des Händlers aus Kaufvertrag -
dem Endabnehmer gegenüber eine Garantie zu nachstehenden Bedingungen:
1. Für dieses Gerät gelten die Garantiebedingungen unseres Händlers im Verkaufsland. In der Schweiz und in den
Ländern, wo die europäische Verordnung 44/99/CE gilt, beträgt die Garantiezeit 24 Monate bei privatem Gebrauch
und 12 Monate bei gewerblichem oder einem solchen gleichzusetzenden Gebrauch. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am
Kauftag des Gerätes, der durch die ausgefüllte Garantiekarte oder einen sonstigen Kaufbeleg nachzuweisen ist.
2. Die Garantie wird nur bei Vorlage der Garantiekarte oder eines Kaufbeleges geleistet.
3. Die Garantieleistung umfasst die Behebung aller innerhalb der Garantiezeit auftretenden Mängel des Gerätes, die
nachweislich auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern beruhen. Die Behebung der Mängel kann nach unserer Wahl
durch Instandsetzung oder durch Umtausch des Gerätes erfolgen. Nicht unter Garantie fallen Mängel oder
Schäden, die durch nicht vorschriftsmässigen elektrischen Anschluss, durch unsachgemässe Handhabung sowie
durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung entstanden sind.
4. Weitere Ansprüche irgendwelcher Art, insbesondere solche auf Ersatz ausserhalb des Gerätes entstandener
Schäden, sind – soweit die Haftung nicht zwingend gesetzlich angeordnet ist – ausgeschlossen.
5. Die Garantieleistungen werden ohne Berechnung durchgeführt; sie bewirken weder eine Verlängerung noch
einen Neubeginn der Garantiezeit.
6. Diese Garantie erlischt bei Eingriff nicht autorisierter Stellen.
Sollten Sie die Garantie in Anspruch nehmen müssen, dann senden Sie bitte das defekte Gerät gut verpackt an eine
unserer autorisierten Service-Stellen. Vergessen Sie nicht, unbedingt die Garantiekarte und/oder den Kaufbeleg
beizufügen, da ohne diese keine Garantieleistung erfolgen kann.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

danger et il ne faut donc pas les laisser à la portée des enfants.

FONCTION “ION”
La fonction “ION” de ce produit est toujours activée. Elle produit un flux d'ions négatifs régénérant qui favorise le
conditionnement de vos cheveux en les rendant plus doux et faciles à peigner, plus volumineux et plus brillants.
Les ions négatifs contribuent à réduire l’électricité statique ainsi que l’effet hérissé et crépu des cheveux.
CONSEILS D'UTILISATION
1. Avant d'utiliser l'appareil, se laver les cheveux puis les sécher avec une serviette.
2. Appliquer les bigoudis comme d'habitude.
3. Brancher l'appareil à la prise de courant.
4. Enfiler l'appareil en mettant la sangle en bandoulière (en maintenant les interrupteurs et le câble d'alimentation sur
la gauche).
5. Enfiler le casque de manière à ce que les petits trous à l'intérieur soient orientés vers les cheveux.
6. Connecter le casque à l'appareil en introduisant la partie élastique dans la bouche de sortie de l'air. (fig. 2)
7. Pour un fonctionnement et un gonflage corrects, le casque ne doit pas supporter le poids de la partie soufflante.
Régler en conséquence la longueur de la sangle de suspension. (fig. 3)
8. Pour sécher les cheveux, positionner l'interrupteur sur 1 ou 2. Au terme du séchage, positionner l'interrupteur sur «
C » (COOL) pendant 1 ou 2 minutes afin de fixer la coiffure plus longtemps.
9. Pour éteindre l'appareil, ramener l'interrupteur sur 0.
10. Enlever le casque.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Toujours débrancher l'appareil avant de le nettoyer !
Laisser refroidir l'appareil et les accessoires utilisés avant de les nettoyer.
Nettoyer l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon humide mais ne jamais le plonger dans l'eau ou dans un autre liquide !
Enlever et nettoyer également les accessoires utilisés.
Cet appareil est conforme aux directives européennes 2004/108/CE, 2009/125/CE, 2006/95/CE

GARANTIE
VALERA garantit l’appareil que vous venez d’acheter aux conditions suivantes:
1. Les conditions de garantie applicables sont celles qui sont définies par notre distributeur officiel dans le pays d'achat.
En Suisse et dans les pays où la directive européenne 44/99/CE est en vigueur, la période couverte par la garantie est
de 24 mois pour un usage domestique et de 12 mois pour un usage professionnel ou assimilé. La période de garantie
commence à courir à compter de la date d'achat de ’l'appareil. La date d'achat est la date qui figure sur le présent
certificat de garantie dûment rempli et portant de cachet du vendeur ou sur la facture d'achat.
2. La garantie n’est applicable que sous présentation de ce certificat de garantie ou du document d’achat.
3. La garantie couvre l’élimination de tous les défauts s’étant vérifiés lors de la période de garantie dérivant de défauts de
matériaux ou de fabrication prouvés. L’élimination des défauts de l’appareil peut s’effectuer soit en le réparant soit en le
remplaçant. La garantie ne couvre pas les défauts ni les dommages provoqués par un branchement au réseau électrique
non conforme aux normes, par un usage incorrect du produit et par le non-respect des Normes d’Utilisation.
4. Toute autre revendication, de quelque nature que ce soit, est exclue, en particulier celle concernant le remboursement
d’éventuels dommages en dehors de l’appareil, à l’exception de l’éventuelle responsabilité expressément définie par

5. Le service de garantie est réalisé gratuitement. Il ne représente pas une prolongation ni un nouveau départ de la
période de garantie.
6. La garantie échoit si l’appareil est altéré ou réparé par des personnes non autorisées.
En cas de panne, renvoyer l’appareil correctement emballé avec le certificat de garantie correctement daté et timbré par
le vendeur à l’un de nos Centres d’Assistance agréés ou au magasin d’achat qui l’enverra à l’importateur officiel pour
la réparation sous garantie.
Le symbole sur le produit ou son emballage indique que ce produit ne peut être traité comme déchet ménager. Il doit être
remis au point de collecte prèvu à cet effet (collecte et recyclage du matériel électrique et électronique). En procédant à la mise
à la casse réglementaire de l’appareil, nous préservons l’environnement et notre sécurité, s’assurant ainsi que le déchets seront

• Adoperare l’apparecchio in modo che le griglie di entrata e di uscita

• Prima d’indossare ed utilizzare l’apparecchio, controllare che i canali
di passaggio dell’aria della cuffia siano stesi in maniera corretta
senza attorcigliamenti e strozzature. (fig.1)
• Fare sempre raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di riporlo e non
avvolgere mai il cordone intorno all’apparecchio.
• Gli elementi che costituiscono l’imballo dell’apparecchio (sacchetti
di plastica, scatola di cartone, ecc.) non devono essere lasciati alla
portata dei bambini in quanto potenziale fonte di pericolo.
• Questo apparecchio deve essere destinato solo all’uso per il quale è
stato espressamente concepito. Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi
improprio, quindi pericoloso. Il costruttore non può essere
considerato responsabile per eventuali danni derivanti da uso
improprio o erroneo.
• Non usare spray per capelli con l’apparecchio in funzione.
• Non rimuovere l’apparecchio dalla testa mentre è ancora in funzione,
ma prima portare l’interruttore sulla posizione 0.

Questo apparecchio è munito di un termostato di sicurezza. In caso di surriscaldamento si arresta

FUNZIONE “ION”
La funzione “ION” di questo prodotto è sempre attiva. Essa produce un flusso di ioni negativi che favorisce il
condizionamento dei vostri capelli, ha un effetto rigenerante e li rende più morbidi e facili da pettinare, con più
volume e lucentezza.
Gli ioni con carica negativa aiutano a ridurre l’elettricità statica e l’effetto “fly-away” dei capelli (capelli rizzi) e le
increspature.
CONSIGLI PER L’USO
1. Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, lavare i capelli e asciugarli con un asciugamani.
2. Applicare i bigodini come da abitudine.
3. Inserite la spina dell’apparecchio nella presa di corrente.
4. Indossate l’apparecchio mettendo la cinghietta a tracolla (tenendo gli interruttori ed il cavo di alimentazione sulla
sinistra).
5. Indossare il casco tenendo i forellini di fuoriuscita dell’aria all’interno dello stesso rivolti verso la capigliatura.
6. Collegare il casco all’apparecchio calzando la parte elastica alla bocchetta di fuoriuscita dell’aria. (fig.2)
7. Per un corretto funzionamento/gonfiaggio il casco non deve sopportare il peso della parte soffiante, regolare
di conseguenza la lunghezza della cinghietta di sospensione. (fig.3)
8. Per asciugare i vostri capelli posizionate l’interruttore su 1 o 2. Una volta completata l’asciugatura posizionare
l’interruttore su “C” (COOL) per 1 o 2 minuti per aumentare il tempo di tenuta della piega.
9. Per spegnere l’apparecchio riportare l’interruttore sulla posizione 0.
10. Infine rimuovere il casco dalla testa.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di pulire l’apparecchio staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente!
Lasciate raffreddare l’apparecchio e gli accessori utilizzati prima di procedere alla loro pulizia.
Potete pulire il vostro apparecchio con un panno umido, ma non immergetelo mai nell’acqua o in qualsiasi altro
liquido!
Rimuovete e pulite anche gli accessori utilizzati.

2. La garanzia è applicabile solo dietro presentazione del presente certificato di garanzia o del documento di acquisto.
3. La garanzia copre l’eliminazione di tutti quei difetti insorti durante il periodo di garanzia dovuti a comprovati
difetti di materiali o di fabbricazione. L’eliminazione dei difetti dell’apparecchio può avvenire o riparandolo o
sostituendo il prodotto stesso. La garanzia non copre difetti o danni causati da allacciamento alla rete elettrica

• No desconectar la clavija de la toma de corriente con las manos
mojadas.

• Antes de ponerse el aparato y de utilizarlo, comprobar que los canales
de paso del aire del casco estén extendidos correctamente, sin

• Dejar enfriar el aparato antes de guardarlo y no enrollar nunca el cable
alrededor del aparato.
• Los elementos del embalaje del aparato (bolsas de plástico, caja de
cartón, etc.) no tienen que dejarse nunca al alcance de los niños, ya que
son peligrosos.
• Este aparato debe destinarse sólo al uso para el cual ha sido
expresamente concebido. Cualquier otro uso debe considerarse
inadecuado y, por consiguiente, peligroso. El fabricante no se hace
responsable de los posibles daños derivados de un uso inadecuado o
erróneo.
• No utilizar spray para el cabello con el aparato en funcionamiento.
• No retirar el aparato de la cabeza mientras esté en funcionamiento; antes
es necesario poner el interruptor en 0.

CONSEJOS DE USO
1. Antes de utilizar el aparato, lavar el cabello y secarlo con una toalla.
2. Colocar los bigudíes como es habitual.
3. Conectar la clavija del aparato a la toma de corriente.
4. Ponerse el aparato utilizando la correa como bandolera (dejando los interruptores y el cable de alimentación a la
izquierda).
5. Utilizar el casco manteniendo los orificios de salida del aire orientados hacia la cabellera.
6. Conectar el casco al aparato calzando la parte elástica en la boca de salida del aire. (fig.2)
7. Para un correcto funcionamiento / inflado, el caso no debe soportar el peso de la parte sopladora; regular en
consecuencia la longitud de la correa de suspensión. (fig.3)
8. Para secar el cabello, poner el interruptor en 1 o 2. Concluido el secado, poner el interruptor en “C” (COOL) 1 o 2
minutos para aumentar la durabilidad del peinado.
9. Para apagar el aparato, poner el interruptor en 0.
10. Por último, retirar el casco de la cabeza.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de limpiar el aparato, desconectar la clavija de la toma de corriente.
Dejar enfriar el aparato y los accesorios antes de limpiarlos.
El aparato se puede limpiar con un paño húmedo, pero no se debe sumergir en agua ni en ningún líquido.

GARANTÍA
VALERA garantiza el aparato que Ud. ha comprado bajo las siguientes condiciones:
1. Son válidas las condiciones de garantía establecidas por nuestro distribuidor oficial en el país de compra. En Suiza
y en los países en los que está en vigor la directiva europea 44/99/CE, el periodo de garatía es de 24 meses para
uso doméstico y de 12 meses para uso profesional o análogo. El periodo de garantía inicia a partir de la fecha de
compra del equipo. Como fecha de compra se entiende la fecha del certificado de garantía debidamente rellenado y
sellado o la fecha del documento de compra.
2. La garantía se aplica únicamente presentando este certificado de garantía o el documento de compra.
3. La garantía cubre la eliminación de todos aquellos defectos que han surgido durante el período de vigencia de la
garantía, ocasionados por defectos comprobados de materiales o de fabricación. Los defectos del aparato se pueden
eliminar efectuando la reparación o sustituyendo el producto. La garantía no cubre defectos o daños causados por
la conexión a la red eléctrica no conforme con las normas, por el uso impropio del producto o por la inobservancia
de las Normas de Uso.
4. No se incluye ningún otro tipo de reivindicación, en particular indemnizaciones de posibles daños que no formen
parte del aparato, con excepción de la eventual responsabilidad establecida expresamente por las leyes vigentes.
5. El servicio de garantía se efectúa sin cargo y no constituye un prolongamiento o un nuevo inicio del período de
garantía.
6. La garantía decae si el aparato se ha alterado, ha sido reparado por personas no autorizadas.
En caso de avería, se debe entregar el aparato bien embalado y con el certificado de garantía regularmente fechado y
sellado por el vendedor, a uno de nuestros Centros de Asistencia autorizados o al vendedor, quien se encargará de
remitirlo al importador oficial para efectuar la reparación de la garantía.
Como consumidor de este artículo, goza Vd. de los derechos que le reconoce la Ley de Garantías en la Venta de Bienes
de Consumo 23/2003 (B.O.E. 11-07-03), en las condiciones que la misma establece. Recuerde que la fecha acreditada
mediante el documento de compra, inicia el período de dos años previsto en la Ley.

VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
• Belangrijk: Voor extra veiligheid raden wij u aan om de elektrische
installatie waarmee het apparaat gevoed wordt te voorzien van een
aardlekschakelaar met een stroomsterkte van niet meer dan 30 mA.
Wend u voor meer informatie tot uw elektrotechnicus.
• Controleer voor gebruik van het apparaat of het goed droog is
• LET OP: Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de buurt van badkuipen,
wastafels of andere houders met water.
• Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en door
personen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke
vermogens of met weinig ervaring en/of kennis, mits deze personen
onder passend toezicht staan of geïnstrueerd zijn over het gebruik
van het apparaat en ze zich bewust zijn van de bijbehorende gevaren.
• Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
• De reiniging en het onderhoud mogen niet zonder toezicht door
kinderen worden uitgevoerd.
• Gebruik uw apparaat niet als deze niet goed functioneert.
• Probeer het elektrische apparaat niet zelf te repareren, maar wend u
tot een bevoegd technicus. Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het
worden vervangen door de fabrikant, de onderhoudsdienst of in elk
geval door een persoon met een vergelijkbare kwalificatie om elk
risico uit te sluiten.
• Wanneer het apparaat in een badkamer gebruikt wordt, moet u het na
gebruik loskoppelen van de elektrische voeding, omdat de nabijheid van
water een gevaar kan vormen, ook als het apparaat uitgeschakeld is.
• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op wisselstroom en controleer of de
netspanning overeenkomt met de spanning die op het apparaat wordt
aangegeven.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
• Leg het apparaat nooit op een plek waar het gemakkelijk in water of
andere vloeistoffen kan vallen.

• Probeer een elektrisch apparaat dat in het water is gevallen er nooit
uit te halen, maar haal meteen de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit als u het weglegt.
• Schakel het apparaat na gebruik altijd uit en haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact. Trek niet aan het snoer wanneer u de stekker uit het
stopcontact haalt.
• Haal de stekker niet met natte handen uit het stopcontact.
• Zorg er tijdens het gebruik van het apparaat voor om de in- en
uitblaasroosters nooit te verstoppen. (afb.1)
• Controleer of de luchtkanalen van de kap zonder kronkels en
vernauwingen zijn geplaatst, voordat u het apparaat op uw hoofd zet
en gebruikt. (afb.1)
• Laat het apparaat altijd afkoelen voordat u het opbergt en wikkel het
snoer nooit om het apparaat.
• Houd de verpakkingsmaterialen (plastic zakjes, kartonnen doos,
enz.) buiten het bereik van kinderen, omdat ze een mogelijke bron
van gevaar vormen.
• Dit apparaat mag uitsluitend gebruikt worden voor de doeleinden
waarvoor het uitdrukkelijk is ontworpen. Ieder ander gebruik is
oneigenlijk, en dus gevaarlijk. De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor
eventuele schade die veroorzaakt wordt door oneigenlijk of onjuist
gebruik.
• Gebruik geen haarsprays bij een ingeschakeld apparaat.
• Verwijder het apparaat tijdens de werking niet van het hoofd, maar
zet de schakelaar eerst in de stand 0.
Belangrijk
Dit apparaat is conform aan de veiligheidsvoorschriften die gelden voor elektrische toestellen.
Dit apparaat is voorzien van een veiligheidsthermostaat en schakelt automatisch uit in geval van
oververhitting. Na korte tijd schakelt het opnieuw aan. Controleer bij ieder nieuw gebruik of de roosters voor
luchttoevoer en –afvoer van het toestel volledig proper zijn.

ION-FUNCTIE
De ION-functie van dit apparaat is altijd actief. Het apparaat produceert een negatieve ionenstroom die helpt uw
haar te conditioneren, een regenererende werking heeft en die uw haar makkelijker kambaar maakt, met meer
volume en glans.
De ionen met negatieve lading helpen de statische elektriciteit en het 'fly-away'-effect van het haar (overeind staand
haar) en het kroezen te verminderen.

Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huisafval mag worden behandeld.
Het moet echter naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor
zorgt dat dit product op de correcte manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijk voor mens en milieu negatieve gevolgen die
zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalbehandeling. Voor meer details in verband met het recyclen van dit
product, neemt u het best contact op met de gemeentelijke instanties, het bedrijf of de dienst belast met het verwijderen van
huishoudafval of de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht.
ADVIEZEN VOOR HET GEBRUIK
1. Was het haar en droog het met een handdoek, voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.
2. Breng de rollers zoals gewoonlijk aan.
3. Steek de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
4. Zet het apparaat op het hoofd en plaats het draagriempje (houd de schakelaars en de voedingskabel aan de
linkerkant).
5. Draag de kap, zodat de luchtgaatjes aan de binnenkant naar het haar zijn gericht.
6. Sluit de kap op het apparaat aan door het elektrische deel op de uitblaasmond te zetten. (afb.2)
7. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de kap correct werkt/goed opgeblazen is, mag het aan de blaaskant geen gewicht
ondersteunen. Stel daarom de lengte van het ophangriempje af. (afb.3)
8. Zet de schakelaar op 1 of 2 om uw haar te drogen. Zet de schakelaar na het drogen op 'C' (COOL) gedurende
1 of 2 minuten om ervoor te zorgen dat het kapsel langer in model blijft zitten.
9. Zet de schakelaar weer in de stand 0 om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
10. Haal de kap ten slotte van het hoofd.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Haal de stekker altijd uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt!
Laat het apparaat en de gebruikte accessoires afkoelen voordat u ze schoonmaakt.
U kunt uw apparaat met een vochtige doek schoonmaken, maar dompel het nooit onder in water of in een andere
vloeistof!
Verwijder ook de gebruikte accessoires en maak ze schoon.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen 2004/108/EG, 2009/125/EG, 2006/95/EG
en aan de verordening (EG) nr. 1275/2008.
GARANTIE
Valera biedt volgende garantievoorwaarden:
1 Van toepassing zijn de garantievoorwaarden die door onze officiële distributeur in het land van aankoop zijn vastgesteld. In
Zwitserland en in de landen waar de Europese richtlijn 44/99/CE van kracht is, geldt een garantieperiode van 24 maanden
bij huishoudelijk gebruik en van 12 maanden bij professioneel of soortgelijk gebruik. De garantieperiode loopt vanaf de
aankoopdatum van het apparaat. De aankoopdatum is de datum die staat op dit volledig ingevulde en door de verkoper
gestempelde garantiebewijs of op de aankoopbon.
2. De garantie is enkel van toepassing na voorlegging van het certificaat of het bewijs van aankoop.
3. De garantie dekt het verwijderen van bewezen materiaal- of fabricagefouten, tijdens de garantieperiode. Dit kan gebeuren door
reparatie of vervanging van het toestel. De garantie is niet van toepassing in geval van schade door aansluiting op een
netwerk dat niet aan de officiële normen voldoet, noch in geval van niet naleven van de gebruiksaanwijzing.
4. Elke andere schadeclaim van welke aard dan ook is uitgesloten, in het bijzonder terugbetaling van schade veroorzaakt door
externe factoren, buiten degenen die uitdrukkelijk bepaald zijn door de van kracht zijnde wetgeving.
5. De garantie-service is gratis. Deze vertegenwoordigt geen enkele verlenging noch vernieuwing van de garantie periode.
6. De garantie vervalt indien het toestel vervalst is of gerepareerd werd door een niet erkende persoon.
In geval van defect, gelieve het toestel behoorlijk verpakt, samen met het garantiebewijs (gedateerd en voorzien van de stempel
van de verkoper) terug te sturen naar één van de officiële Service Centra, of te bezorgen aan de winkel waar het toestel werd
aangekocht. Zij zullen het nodige doen om uw toestel onder garantie te laten herstellen.
