Plasmacluster Ions are the 

same positive and negative 

ions  found  in  nature. The 

ions  are  surrounded  by 

water  molecules,  and  are

• プラズマクラスターイオン発生機の近くでは、シリコーンを配合した化粧品などは使

わない。

• 乳幼児の手の届く範囲では使用しない。

• 交流 220-240V 以外では使わない。

• 電源コード・差込プラグが傷んだり、コンセントの差し込みがゆるいときは使用しな

い。

• 電源コードを傷付けたり、無理に曲げたり、引っ張ったり、束ねたり、重い物を乗せ

たり、加工したりしない。

• 濡れた手で抜き差ししない。

• 改造はしない。修理技術者以外の人は、ユニット交換以外の分解や修理をしない。

• お手入れ時に塩素系・酸素系の洗剤を使用しない。

• 次の場所では使用しない。

・ほこりや湿気の多い場所。

  　・理・美容院、クリーニング店などスプレーや化学薬品を使う場所。

• 差込ブラグのほこりなどは、定期的に取り除く。

• 差込ブラグは、コンセントの奥までしっかり差し込む。

運転のしかた

ここでは IG-A40E を元に説明しています。

IG-A20E も同じです。

操作ふたを開ける

設置時に ｢ 操作ふた固定ネジキット ｣ で固定されている場

合があります。そのときは、ネジカバーとネジをはずして

から、操作ふたを開けてください。

操作ふたのネジ止めについて

必要に応じて付属のネジとワッシャーで操作ふたをネジ止

めし、ネジカバーを取り付けます。

風量 ｢ 弱 」

静かに運転したいとき

風量 ｢ 弱 ｣ で、運転音を抑えて高濃度プ

ラズマクラスターイオンを放出します。

風量 ｢ 中 」

中程度の風量で運転したいとき

風量 ｢ 弱 ｣ と風量 ｢ 強 ｣ の間の濃度のプ

ラズマクラスターイオンを放出します。

風量 ｢ 強 」

強めの風量で運転したいとき

風量 ｢ 強 ｣ でプラズマクラスターイオ

ンの濃度をさらに増やし、プラズマク

ラスターイオンの効果を高めます。

お手入れ

お手入れのときは必ず差込プラグをコンセントから抜いてください。

汚れが落ちにくいとき

台所用合成洗剤を薄めた液に浸した布を固くしぼって、

拭いてください。その後、洗剤が残らないように、よ

く拭き取ってください。

使用状況、環境によりフィルターの汚れがひどいときはこまめにお手入れしてください。

　1 週間に 1 度お手入れされることをおすすめします。

お手入れ後は、フィルターお手入れランプが点灯していなくても必ずフィルターリセットボタン  

を押してください。( ピッと音がします )

フィルターは使い捨てではありません。ときどき、清掃してください。

で、異常ではありません。使用環境や、運転モー

ドにより、音が大きく感じたり、聞こえにくく

感じたりすることがありますが、プラズマクラ

スターイオンの効果は変わりません。

•  While IG-A20E and IG-A40E can inactivate suspended viruses and 

other contaminants, it cannot create a completely sterile environ-

ment. SHARP does not guarantee its ability to prevent microbial in-

fection.

•  To enable stable emission of high-density Plasmacluster ions, the 

Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit mounted in IG-A20E and IG-A40E 

have to be replaced periodically*.

* Replacement is required approximately every 2 years (17,500 hours) when operated 

24 hours a day. IG-A20E and IG-A40E will stop operating after about 26 months 

(19,000 hours) if the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit is not replaced.

CAUTIONS CONCERNING OPERATION:

•  DO NOT block the air intake and/or air outlet.

• DO NOT use the unit near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters or where it may come into 

contact with steam.

•  Always operate the main unit in an upright position. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

• Clean the exterior with a soft cloth only, otherwise the main unit surface may be damaged or 

cracked.

•  Keep the main unit away from water.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:

• Place at least 2m away from equipment utilizing electric waves such as televisions or radios to 

avoid electrical interference when using the unit. 

•  Avoid using in locations where the unit is exposed to condensation or drastic temperature changes. 

Appropriate room temperature is between 0-35ºC.

• Avoid locations where grease or oily smoke is generated, otherwise the main unit surface may 

crack as a result. 

NOTE - Radio or TV Interference:

If this Plasmacluster Ion Generator may cause interference to radio or television reception, 

try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

•  Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

•  Increase the distance between the unit and radio/TV receiver.

•  Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

•  Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

WARNING - To reduce the risk of electric shock,

• Read all instructions before using the unit.

• Use only a 220-240 volt outlet.

• DO NOT use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, or the connection to the wall outlet is 

loosened.

• Periodically remove dust from the plug.

• DO NOT insert

 ngers or foreign objects into the air intake or air outlet.

• Always hold the plug and never pull on the cord when removing the power plug.

  Electric shock and/or

 re from a short circuit may result.

• DO NOT remove the plug when your hands are wet.

• DO NOT use the unit near gas appliances or

 replaces.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, a Sharp 

authorized Service Center or quali

 ed person in order to avoid a hazard.

• Be cautious when cleaning the unit. 

  Strong corrosive cleansers may damage the exterior.

• DO NOT use it in the areas where the unit may get wet.

• DO NOT use spray products near the unit.

• DO NOT use in the rooms, containing oil component, incense, cigarettes’ sparks, and chemical 

fumes.

• DO NOT operate when using aerosol insecticides or in rooms where there is oily residue, incense, 

sparks from lit cigarettes, chemical fumes in the air, or in locations where the unit may get wet, 

such as bathroom.

• DO NOT use these silicone-containing products in the room where the unit is installed.

• Only a Sharp authorized Service Center should service this Plasmacluster Ion Generator.

  Contact the nearest Service Center for any problems, adjustments, or repairs.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-

sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given su-

pervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not ride on the main unit and do not sit on or lean it, it may cause injury or malfunction.
