Battery & adapter installation
Home Receiver Unit:
Main Power Source: Plug in the 6.0V adapter into the adapter socket at the back for basic operation
and continuous backlight.
Backup Power: Open the battery door, install 3 AAA backup batteries according to the polarity
indicated, and close the battery cover.
Remote Sensor:
Loosen the screws on the battery door with a small screwdriver, insert 2 AAA batteries according
to the polarity indicated. Set Channel 1 for the remote sensor. Replace the cover and tighten the
screws.
Setting up the wireless thermometer
• For the initial installation, always turn on the home unit and then the remote sensor.
• Press and hold [SNOOZE/CHANNEL/LIGHT] button on main unit until a beep sounds to search
for remote sensor. Outdoor temperature readings will ash indicating it is in the searching mode
• Press the [Tx] button on the back of remote sensor to transmit RF signal (Need to open sensors
back cover to nd the [Tx] button).
• When RF connection is established, the respective temperature of the selected channel will appear
on the main unit.
DCF77* radio-controlled clock
• The unit will start synchronizing the clock after battery/adapter installation or reset. In normal
mode, press [
/UP] until icon appears to enforce searching of radio-controlled clock signal. If
the icon disappears afterwards, radio time signal is not available at the moment. Try other locations
