OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USEFUL ADVICE
Understanding usage technique of the styler requires small
initial expedients that will allow quickly obtaining the desired
effects. The time of use is variable based on experience
using the device and the desired hair style.
• When using the hair styler, ensure your hair is completely
dry, clean and without any hairspray, mousse or hair gel
• Comb hair and undo any knots that may be present
• Start straightening from the head, proceed on the sides
and nish on the forehead

• During use, the heating and cooling of the styler, position
the appliance on a smooth and heat resistant surface
• While straightening, careful not to bring the heated parts
to close to sensitive parts of the face, ears, neck or skin
• After use, allow the styler to cool down completely before
putting it away.
ATTENTION!
After having nished using the hair styler,
ensure they have completely cooled down
before putting it away.
Never wrap the power supply cable around the
appliance.
PREPARING THE HAIR
• Wash hair as normal and comb, removing knots
• Dry the hair and brush from the roots to the points
• Divide hair into section and start straightening from the
nape of the head
ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE
The styler is equipped with a selector for adjusting the
temperature (4) that allows setting appliance temperature
based on the type of hair and the desired hairstyle.
It is recommended to start styling by setting it at a lower
temperature and progressively increasing the temperature
Scroll the selector switch (4) choosing from among one of
the following temperatures:
170°C: recommended for thinly structured hair and for a soft
curls styling
190°C: recommended for medium structured hair and for
medium denition curls styling
210°C: recommended for thick structured hair and for more
dened curls styling
FUNCTIONING
• Connect the power cable (7) to the mains and position
the styler on a smooth and heat resistant surface. Slide
the On/Off selector switch (5) to ON position to switch on
the appliance.
• Select the desired temperature using the temperature
selector (4); the temperature can be changed at any time

simply by scrolling the selector (4).
• Take a lock of hair, which is not too wide or voluminous
between the ngers (about 2 cm), using smaller locks of
hair it is possible to obtain more dened curls.
• Keeping the hair lock tightly, bring the cold tip (1) of the
heated parts just above the place where the hands are
holding it and proceed by inserting the lock of hair into
the heated part slot (2) making sure that it almost reaches
the bottom of the slot; next move up along the hair lock
and come in proximity of the roots and maintain styler
position.
• Slightly tilt the product compared to the hair lock,
rotate the instrument 360° in one or the other direction
depending on the direction of the effect to be created.
Do not roll the hair lock any more, but allow the product
to slowly slide downwards, maintaining its inclination so
that the hair lock does no overlap on itself during the
movement.
• If desiring a more sustained curl, proceed very slowly and
add additional rotations that will help the hair lock adhere
better to the heated parts (2).

• Once styling operations have terminated, shut off the
appliance by sliding the On/Off selector switch le(5)
to OFF position, disconnect the power supply cable
from the socket (7) and let the instrument cool down
completely before putting it away.
Note:
It is possible that steam develops during straightening;
this is excess humidity in the hair that evaporates.
Make sure that the tip of the hair lock is always positioned
in the lower area of the barrel in order to improve
smoothness and lock release.
CLEANING
• Disconnect the appliance from the power mains (7)
• Verify that the hair styler is cold
• Clean the external and internal surfaces of the heated
parts (2) and the handle of the styler using a soft and
damp cloth. In order to clean the internal surface,
delicately insert a cloth in the slot of the cylinder and

allow it to slide along the entire surface
• Let it dry completely before starting it up again.
ATTENTION!
Before re-using the appliance, ensure that all
wet-cleaned parts are completely dry!
DISPOSAL
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials.
Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental
protection standards.
Pursuant to European Standard 2002/96/CE, the
unused appliance must be disposed of at the end of
its use cycle in a compliant manner.
This regards recycling useful substances in the
appliance and reduces the environmental impact. For
further information, contact the local disposal body or
the appliance dealer.
