INSTRUCTION, USE AND INSTALLATION MANUAL

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Before installing and / or using the cooker hood carefiiUy read all the instructions.

Before installing the cooker hood make sure the voltage (V), frequency (Hz) indicated on the serial number plate and speeifieations on the rating plate 

on the inside of the eooker hood correspond to the voltage and frequency of the mains supply.

INSTALLATION

The cooker hood must not be installed and conneeted to flues where other applianees are installed and whieh run off other energy supplies 

different to eleetrieity (water heaters - boilers - eookers (range/agas) - etc.).

The eooker hood must not be installed above cookers with eye-level grills.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

This cooker hood is designed for permanent fixture. Cormect to mains supply. Cheek voltage and frequeney given on the rating plate loeated on the inside of the 

hood. Cormeet the mains eable to a power soeket or to a omrtipolar switch with a contact gap of at least 3 nun. The mains cabletipe H05W 3 xO.75 mm 2,2 mb ) 

is connected to terminals marked with the letters L (power line)and N (neutral) mormted on the hood and is seeured in position by a cable gland. The mains eable must 

be cormected to a suitable and easily accessible fixed power point. As the electrical installation must comply with the laws and regulations in force only a qualified 

and authorised electrician must install the hood including cormecting it to a omnipolar switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm. Cormect the mains cable if provided 

with a plug to a power socket. The user must have access to power socket to be able to cormect and discormect the plug once the hood is mormted and fixed or the 

mains cable can be plugged into a socket with a omrtipolar switch with a contact gap of at least 3 rtrm The manufacturer shaU decline all responsibility if the 

governing health and safety laws are not observed whieh permit a safe and correet use of the hood and electrical cormections.

MAINTENANCE

Before servicing or repairing the hood make sure the appliance is discormected from the mains supply either by removing the plug or switching the power socket to 

OFF.

Cleaning: 

clean the outer part of the hood with a soft cloth and liqrtid detergent and do not use abrasive cleaning products or scouring pads.

WARNINGS

Follow the cleaning instructions given by the manufacturer and in particular take care that there are no grease deposits on the surface of the hood which could 

create a possible fire hazard. Make sure the electric hob rings or gas rings are always covered when in use to avoid heating the filter. When fiying never leave pans 

unattended as there is the risk of the oil overheating and catehing fire. If reusing fiying oil the fire risk is greater. Never prepare flambé (flame cooked food) dishes 

under the hood. The air ducted by the hood must not be conveyed into a flue used for other appliances that run off other energy supplies different to electricity. The 

kitchen must have good air ventilation when the hood and other applianees whieh run off other energy sources are in use. If the air is to be ducted, before installing 

make sure the flue is in good condition especially if it has been out of use for a long period of time. Always observe governing laws and regulations regarding ducting 

waste gases. All recommendations given must be scrupulously observed to avoid any possible fire hazard.

THE  MANUFACTURER  SHALL  DECLINE  ALL  RESPONSIBILITY  IF  THE  FOREGOING  RECOMMENDATIONS  AND  INSTRUCTIONS

REGARDINGINSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE AND USE ARE NOT OBSERVED AND RESPECTED WHEN USING THE COOKER HOOD.

CONTROL PANEL

Operation of the hood can be controlled by means of a combined switch.

Digital display - informs about the selected speed of hood operation and/or actuation of the switch-off timer (TIMER).

- motor speed selection buttons.

,,T” - switch-off timer - „TIMER”- automatic switching off of the hood motor after preselected time delay.

,,L” - lighting on / off.

Timer  function: 

kitchen  extractor  hood  is  equipped  with  the  option  of  programming  automatic  switch-off  of  the  hood  fan  in

0-minute  intervals,  up  to 

maximum delay of 90 minutes. “Timer” is actuated by pressing ,,T” button during operation of the hood with the required fan speed. The display will flash and a 

dot  will  appear  indicating  that  the  device  is  in  the  switch-off  time  programming  mode.  Then  you  can  program  the  time  of  automatic  switch-off  of  the  hood 

motor using

button, keeping in  mind that the figure shown on the display multiplied by 10-minute time interval indicates the motor switch-off delay (e.g.: 

1=10 minutes, 2=20 minutes, 3=30 minutes etc.).

After setting the delay it has to be confirmed by pressing T button again. The display will stop flashing and will show the previously set speed, and the pulsating 

dot will indicate that the time to switching off of the hood motor is being counted.

TIMER function can be cancelled by pressing T button again during counting of the time.

NOTE: The program always memorizes the last delay setting.

TIMER function has to be actuated within 20 seeonds, otherwise the hood will return automatieally to normal operation.

The  microprocessor  system  may  get  deieted  or  crash  during  momentary  voitage  drops  in  the  network,  and  stop  responding  to  commands  from  the

keyboard. In such case the hood has to be disconneeted from and then conneeted again to the power network in order to reset the system.
