INTRODUCTION
Nous vous félicitons d’avoir choisi une montre de la prestigieuse
collection RAYMOND WEIL, expression vivante d’un design
savamment maîtrisé et de la recherche permanente de qualité
qui caractérisent la Marque depuis sa création.
Votre montre automatique RAYMOND WEIL possède une réserve de
marche de minimum 38 à 42 heures selon le modèle. Lorsqu’elle est
arrêtée, eectuez une vingtaine de tours de cou ronne pour remon-
ter manu ellement le mouve ment. Par la suite, les mouvements
naturels du bras suront à en assurer le remontage.
Pour les modèles avec indicateur de réserve de marche, le compteur
permet d’évaluer à tout moment l’autonomie résiduelle avant l’arrêt
de votre montre lorsqu’elle n’est pas portée. Il est donc nécessaire
de la remonter avant que l’aiguille se trouve au minimum. Une fois
le mécanisme complètement remonté, l’indicateur se trouve sur
la position maximale.

CORRECTION DE LA DATE, DU JOUR ET MISE À L’HEURE

Certains modèles RAYMOND WEIL sont équipés d’une couronne
vissée. Avant de procéder à la mise à l’heure ou à la correction de la
date et du jour de la semaine, il est donc nécessaire de dévisser la
couronne en la tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une
montre. La couronne est ainsi libérée grâce à un ressort. Après
tout réglage, appuyez légèrement sur la couronne en tournant
doucement dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, et revissez-la
soigneusement an de préserver l’étanchéité de votre montre.
Correction de la date et du jour (montres avec calendrier uniquement)
Pour corriger rapidement la date, tirez la couronne en position 2.
Ensuite, suivant le modèle de votre montre, tournez la couronne
en avant ou en arrière jusqu’à ce que la date désirée apparaisse

dans le guichet. La correction de la date s’eectue lors du passage
à minuit de l’aiguille des heures. Pendant cette opération, votre
montre continue de fonctionner et n’a donc pas besoin d’une
remise à l’heure.
Ne jamais procéder à une correction de la date lorsque la montre
indique une heure comprise entre 22 heures et 2 heures. Le méca-
nisme du changement automatique de la date s’enclenche pendant
ce laps de temps et le mouvement pourrait en être endommagé.
Pour les modèles avec indication du jour de la se maine, tirez la
couronne en position 2 et tournez-la dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre pour régler la date et dans le sens contraire pour
régler le jour.
Après toute correction, ramenez toujours la couronne en position 1,
an de préserver l’étanchéité de votre montre.
Mise à l’heure
Pour corriger l’heure, tirez la couronne en position 3 et tournez-la
en avant ou en arrière jusqu’à ce que les aiguilles indiquent l’heure
exacte.
Après la mise à l’heure, ramenez toujours la couronne en position 1,
an de faire redémarrer les aiguilles et de préserver l’étanchéité
de votre montre.

Votre RAYMOND WEIL Nabucco est équipée d’une couronne vissée.
Avant de procéder au remontage ou à un réglage de la montre, il
est donc nécessaire de dévisser la couronne en la tournant dans
le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre. La couronne est ainsi
libérée grâce à un ressort.

votre montre continue de fonctionner et n’a donc pas besoin d’une
remise à l’heure.

puis revissez la couronne soigneusement an de préserver l’étan-
chéité de votre montre.
Dans l’exemple ci-dessous, l’heure principale (22h07) correspond à
Genève, et l’aiguille GMT (6h07), montre l’heure qu’il est à Sydney.

les fuseaux horaires.

INTRODUCTION
We congratulate you on having chosen a watch from the presti-
gious RAYMOND WEIL collection, the living expression of masterful
design and of the continuous quest for top quality, which have
been the hallmarks of the Brand since its creation.
Your automatic RAYMOND WEIL watch has a power reserve ranging
from minimum 38 to 42 hours depending on the model. If your
watch has stopped, turn the crown about 20 times to rewind the
movement manually. Afterwards, the natural movements of your
wrist will be enough to ensure your watch remains fully wound.
For models with a power-reserve indicator, the counter enables you
to check the remaining operating autonomy at any moment before
your watch stops, when not being worn. The watch must therefore
be rewound before the indicator reaches its minimum. When the
mechanism is fully wound, the indicator is at its maximum position.
In order to guarantee the perfect functioning of your
RAYMOND WEIL watch for many long years, we thank you to pay
close attention to the advice contained in these Instructions for
Use as well as in the International Guarantee booklet.

CHANGING THE DATE, THE DAY AND SETTING THE TIME

Your RAYMOND WEIL watch may be tted with a screw-down
crown. Before setting the time or changing the date or the day of
the week, it is therefore necessary to unscrew the crown by turning
it anti-clockwise. The crown will then be released by a spring. After
completing all settings, press lightly on the crown, while turning
it clockwise, and screw it back in gently in order to preserve your
watch’s water-resistance.
Changing the date and the day
(applicable only for watches with date or day and date indication)
In order to adjust the date rapidly, pull the crown out to position 2.
Then, depending on the model of your watch, turn the crown
forwards or backwards until the desired date appears in the window.

The date changes as the hour hand passes midnight. During this
operation, your watch will continue to function and so will not
need to be reset.
Do not change the date when the watch is showing a time
between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The watch’s automatic date change
mechanism engages during this time period and the movement
could be damaged.
For models with a day of the week indicator, pull the crown out
to position 2 and turn it clockwise in order to adjust the date, and
anti-clockwise to adjust the day.
After nishing your changes, always push the crown back in to
position 1, in order to preserve your watch’s water-resistance.
Setting the time
In order to adjust the time, pull the crown out to position 3 and turn
it forwards or backwards until the hands indicate the desired time.
After setting the time, always push the crown back in to posi-
tion 1, in order to restart the hands and to preserve your watch’s
water-resistance.

Your RAYMOND WEIL Nabucco watch is tted with a screw-down
crown. Before winding or adjusting the watch, it is therefore neces-
sary to unscrew the crown by turning it anti-clockwise. The crown
will then be released by a spring.
After adjusting settings, press the crown and gently turn it clock-
wise, and then screw it carefully down to maintain your watch’s
water-resistance.

To change the date quickly, pull the crown out to position 3. Then
turn the crown towards you, anti-clockwise, until the desired date
appears in the window. Automatic date change occurs daily when
the hour hand passes midnight. Your watch continues to operate
during this process and therefore the time does not have to be reset.
Never change the date when the watch indicates a time between
22.00 and 02.00. The automatic date change mechanism operates
during this period and any manual procedure could damage the
movement.
After any date adjustment, always return the crown to position 2,
and then screw down the push-button securely to maintain your
watch’s water-resistance.
Setting the time
To set the time, pull the crown out to position 4 and turn it forwards
or backwards until the hands indicate the exact time.
After setting the time, always return the crown to position 2 to
restart the hands, and then screw the crown down carefully to
maintain your watch’s water-resistance.

To adjust the 24 hour hand (or the second time zone hand), pull
the crown out to position 3 and turn it away from you, clockwise,
until the hand indicates the exact time at your destination or your
home. Your watch continues to operate during this process and
therefore the time does not have to be reset.
After setting the time, always return the crown to position 2, and
then screw the crown down carefully to maintain your watch’s
water-resistance.
In the example below, the main time (22.07) corresponds to Geneva
time, and the GMT hand (06.07) shows the time in Sydney. The map
on pages 134 and 135 will familiarise you with the time zones.

zogen werden noch bevor der Indikator sein Minimum erreicht.
Wenn das Zählwerk voll aufgezogen ist, steht die Anzeige auf der
Maximum-Position.
