Votre montre RAYMOND WEIL est dotée d’un mouvement
chronographe à remontage automatique calibre RW 7200, 7250
et 7300 ainsi que ETA 7750 ou 7753, assemblé soigneusement et

Certains chronographes RAYMOND WEIL sont également équipés
d’une échelle tachymétrique, permettant de mesurer des vitesses
en km/h ou une autre unité.

CORRECTION DE LA DATE ET mISE à L’HEURE

Certains modèles RAYMOND WEIL sont équipés d’une couronne
et/ou poussoirs vissés. Avant de procéder à la mise à l’heure ou à la
correction de la date, il est donc nécessaire de dévisser la couronne
en la tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre. La
couronne est ainsi libérée grâce à un ressort. Après tout réglage,
appuyez légèrement sur la couronne en tournant doucement dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, et revissez-la soigneusement an
de préserver l’étanchéité de votre montre.

Correction de la date
Pour corriger rapidement la date, tirez la couronne en position 2.
Ensuite, suivant le modèle de votre montre, tournez la couronne
en avant ou en arrière jusqu’à ce que la date désirée apparaisse
dans le guichet placé à:
- 12 heures pour les modèles dotés d’un calibre RW 7200 et
7250;
- 3 heures pour les modèles dotés d’un calibre ETA 7750;
- 4 heures pour les modèles dotés d’un calibre RW 7300 ou
ETA 7753.
La correction de la date s’eectue lors du passage à minuit de
l’aiguille des heures. Pendant cette opération, votre montre conti-
nue de fonctionner et n’a donc pas besoin d’une remise à l’heure.
Ne jamais procéder à une correction de la date lorsque la montre
indique une heure comprise entre 22 heures et 2 heures. Le méca-
nisme du changement automatique de la date s’enclenche pendant
ce laps de temps et le mouvement pourrait en être endommagé.
Après toute correction, ramenez toujours la couronne en position 1,
an de préserver l’étanchéité de votre montre.
Mise à l’heure
Pour corriger l’heure, tirez la couronne en position 3 et tournez-la
en avant ou en arrière jusqu’à ce que les aiguilles indiquent l’heure
exacte.

Après la mise à l’heure, ramenez toujours la couronne en position 1,
an de faire redémarrer les aiguilles et de préserver l’étanchéité
de votre montre.
UTILISATION DU CHRONOGRAPHE
La fonction chronographe ne peut être utilisée que lorsque la
couronne est en position 1 ou 2.

Départ
Appuyez sur le poussoir A pour activer l’aiguille des secondes du
chronographe. Si l’action chronométrée dure plus de 60 secondes,
le temps apparaîtra ensuite sur le compteur de minutes et après
30 minutes sur le compteur d’heures.

Arrêt
Appuyez une seconde fois sur le poussoir A pour arrêter le chro-
nographe et obtenir le temps écoulé (heures, minutes, secondes).
En appuyant encore une fois sur le poussoir A, le chronométrage
reprendra immédiatement. Vous pouvez ainsi eectuer plusieurs
mesures de temps séquentielles consécutives.
Remise à zéro
Après avoir arrêté le chronographe en appuyant sur le poussoir A,
appuyez sur le poussoir B pour remettre à zéro l’ensemble des
compteurs du chronographe, qui est maintenant prêt pour une
nouvelle utilisation.

CHANGING THE DATE AND SETTING THE TImE

Your RAYMOND WEIL watch may be tted with a screw-down
crown and/or push-buttons. Before setting the time or changing
the date, it is therefore necessary to unscrew the crown by turning
it anti-clockwise. The crown will then be released by a spring. After
completing all settings, press lightly on the crown, while turning
it clockwise, and screw it back in gently in order to preserve your
watch’s water-resistance.

Changing the Date
In order to adjust the date rapidly, pull the crown out to position 2.
Then, depending on the model of your watch, turn the crown
forwards or backwards until the desired date appears in the window
located at:
- 12 o’clock for models tted with a RW 7200 and 7250 calibre;
- 3 o’clock for models tted with an ETA 7750 calibre;
- 4 o’clock for models tted with an RW 7300 or ETA 7753
calibre.
The date changes as the hour hand passes midnight. During this
operation, your watch will continue to function and so will not
need to be reset.
Do not change the date when the watch is showing a time between
10 pm and 2 am. The watch’s automatic date change mechanism
engages during this time period and the movement could be
damaged.
After nishing your changes, always push the crown back in to
position 1, in order to preserve your watch’s water-resistance.
Setting the Time
In order to adjust the time, pull the crown out to position 3 and turn
it forwards or backwards until the hands indicate the desired time.

tion 1, in order to restart the hands and to preserve your watch’s
water-resistance.

USE OF THE CHRONOGRAPH
The chronograph function can only be used when the crown is
in position 1 or 2.

Start
Press push-button A to activate the seconds hand of the chrono-
graph. If the timed activity lasts longer than 60 seconds, the time
elapsed will next appear on the minutes counter and after a further
30 minutes on the hours counter.
Stop
Press push-button A a second time to stop the chronograph and
obtain the time that has elapsed (in hours, minutes and seconds).
By pressing push-button A again, timing restarts immediately. Thus
you can measure several consecutive time-durations.

Resetting to Zero
After stopping the chronograph by pressing push-button A, press
push-button B to reset all chronograph counters to zero. Your watch
is now ready to start timing again.

Einige Uhrenmodelle RAYMOND WEIL sind mit einer verschraubten
Krone und/oder verschraubten Drückern ausgestattet. In diesem Fall
müssen Sie, bevor Sie die Zeit bzw. das Datum einstellen, die Krone
aufschrauben, indem Sie sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Ein
Federmechanismus sorgt dafür, dass die Krone aufspringt. Nachdem
Sie alle Einstellungen vorgenommen haben, üben Sie einen leichten
Druck auf die Krone aus und drehen sie dabei vorsichtig im Uhrzei-
gersinn. Achten Sie darauf, die Krone sorgfältig zu verschrauben,
um die Wasserdichtigkeit Ihrer Uhr aufrechtzuerhalten.

Datumsschnellschaltung
Um das Datum schnell einzustellen, ziehen Sie die Krone auf Posi-
tion 2 heraus. Danach drehen Sie die Krone – je nach Modell – vor
oder zurück bis das gewünschte Datum im Datumsfenster erscheint,
das wie folgt positioniert ist:
- auf 12 Uhr – bei Modellen mit dem RW Kaliber 7200 und
7250;
- auf 3 Uhr – bei Modellen mit dem ETA Kaliber 7750;
- auf 4 Uhr – bei Modellen mit dem RW Kaliber 7300 bzw. ETA
Kaliber 7753.
Datumsumstellung erfolgt, wenn der Stundenzeiger Mitternacht
passiert. Während dieser Bedienung, bleibt die Uhr funktionstüchtig
und es ergibt sich somit keine Nachstellzeit.
Bitte vermeiden Sie Veränderungen der Datums-einstellung
zwischen 22 Uhr und 02 Uhr. Der Mechanismus der automatischen
Datumseinstellung ist während dieser Zeit im Eingri und das Werk
könnte dadurch beschädigt werden.
Nachdem Sie die Änderung beendet haben, drücken Sie die
Krone immer auf Position 1 zurück, um die Wasserdichtheit der
Uhr aufrecht zu erhalten.
Zeiteinstellung
Um die Zeit einzustellen, ziehen Sie die Krone auf Position 3 heraus
und drehen Sie diese vor oder zurück bis die Zeiger die gewünschte
Zeit anzeigen.

Nachdem Sie die Zeit eingestellt haben, drücken Sie die Krone
zurück auf Position 1, um die Zeiger neu zu starten und um die
Wasserdichtheit der Uhr aufrecht zu erhalten.
GEBRAUCH EINES CHRONOGRAPHS
Ein Chronograph erhält seine Funktionstüchtigkeit nur dann, wenn
sich die Krone auf Position 1 oder 2 bendet.

Drücken Sie den Druckknopf A um den Sekundenzeiger Ihres
Chronographen zu aktivieren. Wenn die Messung länger als 60
Sekunden dauert, wird die verstrichene Zeit auf dem Minutenzähler
erscheinen und nach 30 Minuten auf dem Stundenzähler.
