With the body fat analysis scales,you can not only determine your weight,but also your

body fat proportions.

What is the body fat?

Body fat is essential for survival,It cushions,for examplethe joins,protects the organs

and stores vitamins.However,a high proportion of body fat poses many risks.In particular

for the heart and circulatory system.Few peole are aware of the fact that weight and the

proportion of body fat tell us a lot about the degree of health risk.Even slim people may

have an unhealthily high proportion o fbody fat.A person who is “overweight”is not

necessarily “too fat”.The excess weight can be caused by above average musle

really are”too fat”Standard scales only show the total weight of the body,without providing

any information about the fat content.

Body fat measurement how it does it work?

Before you can work out your body fat proportion and proportion of water (depending on

model) you must program your date regarding height,age and sex into the scales. When

measuring body fat an undetectable bioelectrical current is transmitted through the feet

into the body,with the varying speeds being used to provide the proportion of body fat.This

id then entered after being compared with personal details.The electrical signal used is

innocuous to people and cannot be felt.Long-term monitoring will enable you to calculate

and observe the proportions of body fat and water in your body.

Body fat measurement points to note!

Measurement of body fat must be performed bare foot.Care must be taken to ensure

that measurement is always performed under identical conditions(e.g. not eating or

drinking directly prior to measurement )and at the same time of day.This is important,as

at the same time of day.Please also bear in mind that it takes longer to reduce body fat

required to reduce body fat proportionsand maintained the reduced level over a longer

period of time.Monitoring body fat and weight can be a part of this long-tern alteration,it

is the easiest way to measure the progress made in altering body fat proportions over

a period of time.
