Your steam generator is an electrical appliance: it must be used in normal conditions of use. It is only designed for domestic use.
• Yourgenerator is fitted with 2 safety systems:

a pressurereleasevalve which,inthe event of a malfunction, releases anyexcess steam;
- a thermal fusetoprevent the appliancefrom overheating.

• Always plug in your steam generator:
- an electricalinstallationwith voltage between 220V and 240V.
- an earthed socket.

Connecting to thewrong voltage maycause irreparabledamage to the appliance andwill invalidate yourguarantee.
Ifyou are using a mains extensionlead, ensure that it is correctlyrated (10A) withanearth, andisfullyextended.
• Completelyunwind thepower cord from itsstorage space before connecting to an earthed socket.

• Iftheelectricpowercordor theiron-unitisdamaged,itmustbe replaced byan ApprovedServiceCentreinorder topreventanydanger.
• Do not unplug the appliance by pullingonthe cord.

• Always wait before rinsing the collector until the steam generator has cooled down and has been unplugged for at least 2 hours
before unscrewing the collector.

• If youlose or damage the boilerrinse cap, have it replaced byanapproved ServiceCentre.
