QUICK START

Before using the device for the first time

Before using your product for the first time you need to register and

update it through any of the Profoto apps. Profoto apps are available on

App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery. For more information

about the Profoto apps, go to profoto.com.

• Install the battery and connect the charger to a power outlet and

press the on/standby button on the B10X / B10X Plus unit.

• A welcome message will be displayed on the device.

• Download and start the Profoto app on your phone.

• Follow the instructions on Profoto app to connect, register and

update your product.

• Once the update is completed, you can start using your product.

• Choose the region you are in. Search for your product in the search

field. Click on “Downloads” and you will find the full user guide for

download.

Battery information

Disconnect the battery from the power outlet before cleaning or when

it is not used. Battery should not be left discharged for a longer period.

Battery should not be charged while in contact with flammable material

like textiles. Do not attempt to recharge a battery which has been left

in a hot or cold environment, such as a car. Let the battery reach a

temperature suitable for charging before doing so. This battery can

only be used with Profoto products.
