Introduction & Installation  Thank you and congratulations on your purchase of the NZXT HALE90 PSU. 

Introducing the newest addition of high performance products from NZXT, the NZXT HALE90 Power Supply Series. Using the latest 

LLC resonant circuitry design paired with all Japanese capacitors, the NZXT HALE90 passes 80+ Gold certification by reaching 90% 

efficiency at 50% load. Designed with a strong singular +12V rail, the HALE90 provides support for the latest power demanding 

peripherals and components. The HALE90 is backed by NZXT’s 5 year warranty policy to support our confidence in the product. 

The HALE90 Series is powered by : 

  80+ Gold certified: The HALE 90 series from NZXT operates at ultra high efficiency, at 20%, 50% and 100% loads, 

efficiencies are 87%, 90%, and 87% respectively. 

  A single large 140mm two ball bearing fan operates at low noise even at full load. 20db for wattages between 550-750W 

and 30db for 850W and above.   

  Strong Single Rail Design: A single +12V rail provides stability and ease of use making the most out of your power supply.

  Latest GPU support, ideal for latest DX11 GPUs and comes with 8pin and 8(6+2) pin PCI-E connectors.

large cases which have PSUs mounted at the bottom.

New System Installation: 

Please make sure the HALE90 PSU is not connected to the AC power cord. Following the directions in your chassis manual install the 

HX1000W in your computer case with the provided screws. Connect the following cables: 

 Motherboard 

20+4pin 

and 4+4pin EPS connectors 

SATA/Peripheral cables for ODD and HDD devices 

PCI-Express connectors for VGA cards 

 Floppy 

Connector 

Connect the AC power cord to the HALE90 PSU and turn on by pushing the switch to the “I” position. 

Note: On the HALE90 850W and 1000W Modular models, users can pick and choose any of the 8 modular connections on the 

PSU. There are no restrictions to which connector must be connected. 

PSU Replacement: 

Disconnect the AC power cord from your wall outlet or UPS from the existing power supply. Disconnect all the power cables from your 

video card, motherboard and all the other peripheral devices. Follow your case manual to replace the power supply and re-connect all 

cables according to your configuration 

WARNINGS 

The warranty will be void if the cover is removed.   

The 24-pin main power connector has a detachable 4-pin connector. This 4-pin connector is not a P4 or ATX 12V connector and should not be used as any 

other connector, doing so may cause damage to your power supply. 

Please operate the power supply in a safe and dry environment. 

Do not insert any objects into the open ventilation or fan grill area of the power supply. 

The warranty is voided with the use of third party cables. Third party cables might not be compatible and could cause serious damage to your system and 

power supply.
