CAUTION: Easy Bracket can not be installed on the ceiling.
When it is installed on the wall, peg for Easy bracket Hook ⓚ
must be placed upwardly.
1) Drill the holes on wall using a supplied template.
2) Insert the anchors to the drilled holes.
2a) Easy Bracket: Match the EASY
BRACKET to the drilled position.
Fix the EASY BRACKET by using
Wall fixing screws.
3. Route cables to the installtion position and connect audio, power, alarm
and LAN cables as required.
Care should be taken the cable is NOT to be damaged, kinked or
exposed in the hazardous area.
The camera can work with either 24AC or 12VDC, dual voltage power and

Easy Bracket and Standard Bracket
PoE (IEEE Std. 802.3af). When using a 12VDC or 24VAC power supply
please proceed as follows:
• Make sure the power is removed before the installation.
• Follow the order for applying power.
First, connect the low voltage (AC24V or DC12V), then plug the AC adapter
to AC outlets to avoid an improper reset from power jitter and a damage
from the surge voltage when no load.
To communicate with the network camera it is necessary to connect a
standard RJ-45 cable to it. Generally a cross-over cable is used for direct
connection to PC, while a direct cable is used for connection to a hub /
switch.

6. Set the camera’s angle (Pan, Tilt, inclination).
Pan is limited to +/- 90°.
Tilt is limited to 0°(2°) min ~ 90° max. for wall(ceiling) installation respec-
tively with reference to the ceiling when the inclination of camera module is
0°, that is, the image is aligned horizontally.

Network setup
Accessing the camera
The camera’s default IP address is: 192.168.1.10. Therefore, to access the
camera for the first time, set the PC’s IP address as: 192.168.1.XXX; for
example:
IP Address: 192.168.1.20
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
• Enter the camera’s IP address in the URL bar of the Web browser win-
dow and hit “Enter.”
• Enter the default user name (root) and password (root) in the prompt
request dialogue.
It is also possible to reset IP parameters to the original factory default
settings by pressing the IP reset switch located next to the video sub-out
connector for 10 seconds.

ActiveX will be automatically downloaded and installed after the login-in and
a confirmation.
If you‘re using Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, the Information mes-
sage will show up just as below. Click the Information message.
If the Information message doesn‘t come out due to the problems like net-
work failure, you can start the manual installation.
Click the Install ActiveX Control, and the pop-up window will be displayed.

After the installation is successfully completed, Smart Viewer window will be
displayed.
Assigning an IP address
To assign an IP address to the camera proceed as follows:
Click Network Confi guration on the Network Confi guration menu.
Depending on the service type, the network confi guration can be in any of
Static IP, DHCP Client, or PPPoE. You need to set up the network camera
according to your network type.

For static IP, select static IP and input values for IP address, NetMask, Gate-
way, DNS1, DNS2 and click apply for saving settings. After apply, program
will ask closing web brower for updates, which will take 20~30 seconds.
For DHCP, DHCP server must exist in the network environment. Select
DHCP Client from Network Confi guration, click Apply.

PPPoE is used to connect eneo products to PPPoE modem provided by
ISP. Since PPPoE needs verifi cation, ID and password are necessary to
access network. Type in ID and password.
Administrator password
To change the password for the administrator, click Admin Password on

System Confi guration menu.

Default ID for admin account is fi xed as “root” and not allowed to change.
In Old Password fi eld, enter the current password. In both New Password
and Confi rm Password fi elds, enter the same new password. The password
must be between 4 and 23 alphanumeric letters. Click Apply button to put it
into eff ect.
Because you have replaced the password with a new one, the existing
network connection made with old password now is lost. You will have to
reconnect using the new password.

Camera setup
Accessing the setup menu
The setup menu can be accessed and controlled either by using the USB
connector or by using the RS-422 interface.
To access the setup menu please install the „Camera Controller GUI“ soft-
ware from the enclosed CD-ROM. During the installation, you will be promp-
ted to install Silicon Laboratories drivers. This portion of the installation is
necessary for using a USB connection to the camera.
Make sure that the camera is properly connected to the PC before running
the GUI.
Please select „LWIR“ mode. When the GUI first opens, it will display “Not
Connected” on the bottom left.
Connect to the camera by selecting „Tools“ and then „Connection“.

Select „Serial (RS-232)“, select „921600“ (for USB) or „57600“ (for RS-
422) as the Baud Rate, and click „Next“. If you only have one serial com-

munication port on your computer, the button will say „Finish“.

Select the appropriate COM port and click „Finish“. You can identify the
COM port used for Silicon Labs in the Windows „Device Manager“ under
„Ports (COM&LPT)“

The GUI will now automatically connect to the camera and refresh informa-
tion in the software. The status LED will turn green and it will display “Con-
nected” on the bottom left.
When the Camera Controller GUI successfully links to the camera, you will
see the window shown below. The GUI provides six tabs on the left allowing
for camera control.

Le support Easy Bracket ne peut pas être fixé au plafond.
Une fois fixé au mur, l’attache pour le support de fixation Easy
Bracket ⓚ doit être positionnée vers le haut.
1. Effectuer les perçages en utilisant le gabarit joint.
2. Insérer les chevilles dans les perçages
2a. Easy Bracket: Positionner l’EASY
BRACKET à l’endroit foré.
Fixer l’EASY BRACKET à l’aide des
vis de fixation murale.
3. Acheminez le câble vidéo/de courant/audio/alarm/réseau vers le point
de connexion.
Veillez à ne PAS endommager, déformer ou exposer
le câble dans une zone dangereuse.

La caméra peut fonctionner en 24AC ou en 12VDC ainsi qu’avec une
alimentation bitension et par PoE (IEEE Std. 802.3af). En cas d’utilisation
d’une alimentation électrique 12VDC ou 24VAC, veuillez procéder comme
suit :
• Assurez-vous que l’alimentation secteur est déconnectée avant
l’installation.
• Respectez la séquence de mise sous tension.
Connectez d’abord le connecteur basse tension (12VDC ou 24VAC), puis
l’adaptateur CA aux sorties de courant alternatif afin d’éviter une réinitialisa-
tion inopportune due à une instabilité de l’alimentation et des dommages
en cas de surtension sans charge.
Pour communiquer avec la caméra réseau, celle-ci doit être reliée à un câb-
le RJ-45 standard. En général, un câble croisé est utilisé pour établir une
connexion directe au PC. Un câble direct sert plutôt en cas de connexion à
un hub/switch.

Accès à la caméra
L’adresse IP par défaut de la caméra est : 192.168.1.10. Pour un premier
accès à la caméra, veuillez donc paramétrer l’adresse IP du PC comme
suit: 192.168.1.XXX. Exemple:
Adresse IP : 192.168.1.20
Masque de sous-réseau : 255.255.255.0
• Saisissez l’adresse IP de la caméra dans la barre d’adresse URL de la
fenêtre du navigateur Web et appuyez sur la touche « Entrée ».
• Saisissez le nom d’utilisateur par défaut (root) et le mot de passe (root)
dans la boîte d’invite.

Il est également possible de réinitialiser les paramètres IP originaux par
défaut en appuyant pendant 10 secondes sur le commutateur de réinitiali-
sation de l’IP situé à côté du connecteur de sous-sortie vidéo.
ActiveX sera automatiquement téléchargé et installé après l’ouverture de
session et après une confirmation.
Si Windows XP Service Pack 2 ou une version ultérieure est installée sur
votre ordinateur, un message d’information apparaîtra à l’écran, comme ci-
dessous. Cliquez sur ce message.

Si le message d’information n’apparaît pas en raison notamment d’une
défaillance du réseau, vous pouvez procéder à l’installation manuelle.
Cliquez sur « Install ActiveX Control », et la fenêtre contextuelle apparaîtra.

Une fois l’installation terminée, la fenêtre du Smart Viewer sera affi chée à
l’écran.
Attribution d’une adresse IP
Pour attribuer une adresse IP à la caméra, veuillez procéder comme suit :
cliquez sur « Network Confi guration » (Confi guration réseau) dans le menu
« Network Confi guration ».

En fonction du type de service, la confi guration réseau peut être soit « Sta-
tic IP » (IP statique), « DHCP Client » (Client DHCP), ou PPPoE. Vous devez
confi gurer la caméra réseau en fonction de votre type de réseau.
En cas d’utilisation d’une adresse IP statique, sélectionnez « Static IP » et
saisissez les valeurs de l’adresse IP, du masque de sous-réseau, de la pas-
serelle ainsi que le DNS1 et le DNS2. Cliquez ensuite sur « apply » (appli-
quer) pour enregistrer votre confi guration. Le programme vous invitera alors
à fermer le navigateur Web pour procéder à une mise à jour qui durera de
20 à 30 secondes.
Pour l’option DHCP, l’environnement réseau doit comporter un serveur
DHCP. Sélectionnez « DHCP Client » (Client DHCP) dans le menu « Net-
work Confi guration » (Confi guration réseau). Cliquez ensuite sur « Apply ».
